I think our best is better than theirs

I argue that more has to go right for us to win than it does for them.

The next step in our evolution is learning to win when it doesn't go right. That's where they excel.

I suspect we've lost too much to win tonight so anticipate they'll win by about 3 goals but not discounting us by any means

I’ll need consoling if Cripps doesn’t play
Nick Duigan is your man.

IF Cripps doesn't play I can see only one solution... It's time to unleash the beast. KEMP time!

Can only play with what we've got, we can complain about luck and go hang out with Piers Morgan, or we can go out there with the Spirit of Imran Khan (cricketing days, not politician days) and fight like cornered tigers!

He fought like a tiger as a politician too. Have to be doing something right if the crazies try to assassinate you!

Look at what we've come to...
Micro analysing Voss's presser for proof of Crippa playing or not.

I don't expect to win this game and don't believe it's a significant issue if we don't win. The pies have lost 2 games for the year and are at full strength.

Need the other games to go our way this weekend then get the job done against lesser opposition in the run home.

Cripps and in Walsh can't be covered and neither can McKay - against a full strength Collingwood. Would be a huge win against the odds - but anything can happen in a game of football.

I'm still looking forward to the day when the side can field its genuine best 22 - we wont see it in '23.

If Cripps is out Voss loses all credibility when it comes to questions around injuries. Whether you mind it or not it could not be described as anything but a blatant lie. He was adamant Cripps is playing. Yes I know things can change but you'd have to be pretty gullible to believe that.

This exactly. If Cripps is out, why not just say he will have to pass a fitness test instead of he is 100% playing

Can’t for the life of me remember at what point in the game he got the cork ??

Second half. Likely Q4. I remember it looked bad at the time.

I suspect mind games. Make them plan for him when you're planning for something else entirely. Leigh Matthews used to do it on the regular when he was coaching Brisbane
