I thought so too but why was his starting position at centre clearances behind his opponent, get front spot and back Pitto to put it in your hands
I've been waiting for him to come in and replace Fisher in the HHF role.Cottrell. If you want to watch what you’ll get if he plays seniors then just go to the afl app. Watch the lead up to his goal in the final quarter.
Mind blowing stuff. Tracked back hard deep into D50. Smothered. Got on his bike. SPRINTED and somehow got ahead of a fast moving ball in transition. Got on the end of a pass then calmly slotted one from 50.
That single play showed me all I need to know. He’s def in same shape as he was last year and he played 18 games.
Straight in. No risks in my view. Hollands needs a break.
Who's Boyd replace? With Cinc and Kemp now in the side, I think we have pretty good balance. Unless Doch move further up the ground permanently.I think Cotts and Boyd will make us better. Just mentally tough and provide huge run/pace.
Agree with what you say. But my sole issue with him is the short steps he sometimes takes.I've been saying it for weeks. Fish is playing a coaches role. Sacrificing his natural game in the process.
We should be thanking him. but he gets ridiculed non stop in this place by the stats driven lynch mob.
If we are going to beat the strategy of the Pies we need to get every quick player into the side we can.Who's Boyd replace? With Cinc and Kemp now in the side, I think we have pretty good balance. Unless Doch move further up the ground permanently.

Adelaide invented new ways to lose today. If we are going to beat the strategy of the Pies we need to get every quick player into the side we can.
If he has to play Ed Curnow’s role then fine by me.
My issue is that he calls for the ball in the most stupid of positions. I lost track of how many times he did it last night. He does it every week, calls for it when he's not in a safe position and thankfully last night he was ignored a few times.Agree with what you say. But my sole issue with him is the short steps he sometimes takes.
I could live with that... have Cotts rattle Nick like Robbo did to GAblett back in the day.as someone said earlier, Cotts is the perfect candidate to suffocate playmakers like N.Daicos.
Playing the old style lead up CHF... just needs to sort out his kicking for goal. But then again. If Charlie doesn't fire one night, and H does... it doesn't matter. So true.
I said to my wife last night, he’s playing like an old school CHF.
Tip of the iceberg…I actually thought Honey looked more promising. Saw some bursts of acceleration and a good leap we haven't seen him show at AFL level for a while, for whatever reason.
His best game for us by far.One thing that really stood out in this win is Pitto's form, he's playing a lot better now and was key to our midfield dominance. Who were the people who wanted to get rid of him, again? Imagine if we have Young, JSOS or TDK as lone ruck... sheesh.
Fingers bloody crossedI can confirm that the margin or satisfaction didn’t change after a second viewing.
Well balanced team with Saad, Doc, Kemp & Cinc. Cotts would be another great addition.
And Kennedy as sub worked well.
This could be the catalising result that shapes the next phase of the season for the team. Bring on the next five rounds.

I really hope they persist with Honey.Pluses for me outside of the obvious stand out players:
Better ball movement. Amazing how it‘s easier to score when you move the ball quicker.
Saad and Doc back, see above.
Cincotta.
Kemp.
Pitt’s work around the ball ups.
George’s work in close.
Thought Honey contributed more although will be interesting to see if he gets another shot at it next week.
Not sure there will be many changes unless someone is sore. Also not sure I would put Mots straight back in tbh.
Curious to see if Cotts and Boyd can get into the side soon.
I hope you weren't wearing Nic's outfit...Waking up this morning feeling like Nicole Kidman after her divorce
From this point forward, if LOB or Plowman ever get picked ahead of Cincs (can I call him that?), I'll spew up! I don't care if they bring different things to the table...it just cannot ever happen.
I really hope they persist with Honey.
He’s a one touch confidence player.
Building without a doubt.
I can see a dynamic small power forward in him - we don’t have one yet.
Circa - Degoey, Green, Heeney etc…
We could use one …

I do think he’s got footy smarts.I just don't see the game sense and smarts in Honey that those guys possess.
Athletic attributes, sure. He's got good vision when the ball is in his hands.
But there's a big difference between the natural, instinctive, clever forward specialists and the ones who look great when the ball falls in their path, but struggle to make good position by anything other than happenstance.
Happy to hold onto Honey and keep developing him, but a quality half forward should be top of our off-season shopping list.
