I don't think he has much value at all, certainly not enough that we'd have an in principal agreement... Be lucky to be on the list much longer.
I think we'd be fools to delist him... need to work on his body shape, basically to undo most of what the training staff got him to do last year, at Teague's request.

He has some tools but he just hasn't put them on display in a meaningful way. He is good in theory only to this point in his career, just doesn't impact games with the little ball he does find.

What an ugly game of football. Our AFL listed players need to use their superior fitness to run the Bullants ragged instead of playing reactive footy.

LOB & Willo should be owning this sort of game. LOB strikes me as playing to the level of whoever the Opposition are, with a little bit added on top because he can.

I'd love to know how the commentator gets the pronunciation 'Gertz' out of Goetz. When his uncle played with Williamstown everyone pronounced the name as 'Goatz' & when this young fellow was on the Bulldogs' list it was pronounced 'Getz'. These latter 2 make sense, whereas the former doesn't seem close.

They're right. If it's a traditional pronunciation.

My question - given that I can't watch the game, at work - is who precisely for them is getting a hold of us? Is this another symptom of being a team of genuine shortarses without genuine KPD's making scoring easier?

The thing is they shouldn't be finding it this easy to score.
They should. Our AFL team has no defense of note so why should our reserve team be any different given they'd be following the same coaching directions in general.

Its no one in particular. We get the ball move slowly, don't know where to go, go down the line, they intercept go through the middle and score. Repeat. It's Just a despondent performance with no system against a team that really is very bad.

Nope. This is worse than that.

Look at a more complicated VFL ladder. They have genuinely the worst offense in the VFL, by nearly 150 points across the season; they've kicked 309 points in 7-8 games.

It should not be that easy for them to score against us, even with poor defensive structures and a lack of KPD.
