Plenty of AFL names in there. Carroll one of the regular VFL players missing. Williamstown are a strong side. Couple of ex-blues in O'Dwyer and Polson in their side.

Marchbank back is good, sometimes wonder if we would be better with him at CHB instead of Young some times for that extra mobility, run and decision making.

Martin back, he has to be best 22 when fit.

Would love to see DeKoning turn the corner and step up as a forward. That's a very tall forward line.

Marchy, unfortunately another with flawed disposal from our lot (slow to move the ball on as well).

TDK, Mirkov, O'Keefe and Lemmy is a tall mix in the wet.
That is the issue with having so many poor rucks on our list, none of them will get adequate time in the ruck to develop instead we will share it amongst Mirkov and Okeefe, when really we need TDK working on his ruck craft. They should rest Mirkov as its clear he wont be making it at AFL level, the others still have a chance.

DeKoning really needing to prove he can play as a forward. Difference between getting a game and not. Also an enormous difference to what his next contract is worth. Forward/Ruck is a huge hole in our side. So far he hasn't proven he has it so hopefully this is about him getting a hold of that.

Would love to see a team where he's playing high up the ground at CHF and Curnow and McKay doing what they do best and playing deep and staying dangerous.

Marchbank IMO there is a spot there. Young uninspiring. A shorter more athletic CHB who can read the game may just be a good fit for us with Young to come in for teams who have a second quality big forward.

Cincotta unlucky, he will be looking to have a big game.

Binns IMO needs to keep doing his thing. Fisher we know what he needs to do, play well offensively is a given from him but we need to see tackling and pressure from him.

Dow just needs to keep playing well. He's playing for his career which looks like it may be at another club. But then again who knows.

Jack Martin. There's no genuine forward mid in our team. There's no genuine half forward flanks in our AFL team. He should be the player to fill one of those holes. But can his body and form hold up?

Is Cincotta a confirmed VFL starter? I've got the C on him in supercoach and don't want to get caught out 🤣. Got Day on the bench and I'm driving to the G so won't be able to change.

Re Marchy, yes I think he can slot in down back, releasing Gov back to being a forward. Yeah yeah, not ideal but he’s only one of 5 players on the list with genuine forward craft - Coleman boys, Owies, Martin and Gov - that’s it. Mots and Durds may get there, time will tell.

JSOS will not bring us to the promised land, very unlikely he gets a game in a serious top 8 team as a 3rd tall, so maybe his role is just permanent relief ruck off the bench, with occasional stints forward.

Hope TDK has a good day up fwd .. strong looking team no excuse not to win today ..
gee Martin should be just sent away somewhere to get right as he is wasting time at this rate ..

Oscar McDonald was best 22 last year for us at the start of the season, we couldn't get his body right, here he is playing for Williamstown.

If he was still on our list would probably be in our senior team.
