So I think I maybe need to sideways Simpson to Humphrey to avoid a donut.
Which leaves me short of my Ginbey to Sicily trade.
So it’s Ginbey to Sinclair or Steele.

Unless I go early on another fwd rookie.
Will Humphrey keep up his scoring?
Will leave me with 16 trades and 5 spots to fill.
Thoughts?

I don't need another look at Wardlaw, but Ford we probably do? I can't bring them both in the same week.
Yeah. I'll be surprised if Ford doesn't play this week. But I don't know how he's going to go against the Pies. And I don't know how many bad games he can play before he's dropped again.

I think if I really, really needed to downgrade someone to a 123k player this week, he'd be my preference. But unless you really, really need to do that, an extra week will give us a good sense of whether it was just a fluke.

Wardlaw's JS is safe. Just has to not get injured.

I want to go

Allen > Dale via seamus
Kelly > Merrett

Would leave 4 rookies (incl Sheez) to upgrade, 14 trades & 40K.

Haynes, Oliver, Owens on the bench what a $hitshow.

Steele (who I should have grabbed instead of Mills) looks a bargain and us so tempting means I could get Sinclair as well.

Was facing 3 donuts with simpson, oliver and owens.
So I have traded:
Simpson to Wardlaw
Davey to Ford
Cincotta to Merrett
Holding Oliver and Owens on the bench as I am running out of trades and need them back on the field without trading them.
No donuts but big risk bringing in Ford and Wardlaw 1 week only, this will make or break my season, and really is hoping oliver and owens get back in 1 - 2 weeks.
May have to rethink / retrade if Ford not named.
I will probably be stuffed through the byes one way or another.

16 trades left after this. Zigging whilst others zag. Thoughts please lads
Very sideways for my liking.

Although my trades this week are also looking very sideways, just giving you my external view.

2 green dots out when some people don't even have one on the pine is a bit of a luxury this round.

You can loop two lines with Davey.

Honestly think my side looks OK (best 22 at least) and only have 2 rookies left to upgrade (not.countimg Sheezel) but have dropped in the ranks 2 weeks in a row.

Cash gen an issue after passing on Humphrey, Atkins, etc (but at least Ford, Wardlae, etc to come)

Anyway, here is my side after going S.Ryan to McAndrew and Ginbey to Neale.

it's not that bad is it? Can anyone see better trades than the above?

simpson to fyfe is tempting
Do not do it ! .....everyone said Fyfe was the greatest free hit this season .....so he lines up R1 in my side , at that's all she said

I have this uncontrollable urge to boot Ziebell @ 600k. Yes, he may continue with a 100 average. But it is a matter of time until he slows down.

I know this will bite me on the ass like Darcy to Gawn did, but I cant fathom not banking 250k, and swapping a 350k MP for the highest priced player at the start of the season.

Cincotta to Wardlaw another sideways trade not making me any money. But the points I hope to make off these two trades hopefully sets me up from R15 onwards to finish my team.

Is Day to Merrett really that sideways? Day comes up against a stingy St Kilda this week, Merrett has a nice schedule. Day also significantly overperformed this year with one score (against North) bumping him up. Would say he's about capped imo

Struggling to follow this - you are not banking anything, they are the same price.

The price they started the season at is based on last years scores while their current price is based on this year. I would have thought that the recent data is the most relevant?

Not saying don’t do it as Ziebell may indeed be overs and Laird undres, just challenging the thought process.

Wasn't Hall taking half his chips last time he pigged out in 2021? What's to say he won't keep it up this year?
