Laird out sucks but at least I don't have Cripps as well, I was close to trading him in last week for Green but went with Steele instead, bullet dodged.



He should do, he has been pretty good since he has returned to our side and doesn't deserve to be dropped.

I need him to play too so I will be pissed if he cops the axe.

Thought he was playing well down back and even better when he moved onto Anderson in the 2nd half.

From reports this is the most Aussie pitch in England ...you can see the good bounce .
Few cracks / movement for the poms .

I think the weather migh be dodgy over the W/E ..

It is good bounce and its true - its why all our order got starts, its not a difficult pitch to bat on. First innings 300 on this is deplorable

Rain the only thing stopping this from being 2-2 IMO... esp if we keep insisting on bowling short rubbish

It's hard to judge a pitch till the other Kent's bat on it ..they were reporting it was a par score .
This poms team maybe could of been all out for 220 bazball style.

Things change pretty fast in cricket ...

Imo watching cricket live is great in England every day stands are full of Kent's.

Since durability has been such a big talking point this year (and since some are looking ahead to next year already), I thought I'd compile the top 30 players in terms of total points since the start of 2021. Any surprises?

Will update for the preseason planning thread later in the year.

We've basically all ignored Luke Parker as a set and forget for the past 10 years.
Lowest game tally of 19 in that time.
Next lowest is 21 if you take out 2020 (where he still played every game).
Lowest average of 99.3 in 2017.

You could have finished every year with him at M7 or M8 and never had a regret about it.
