Good to see blokes like Weiters, Newman and Gov run the length of the ground to celebrate first goals for Binns and Moir

Even funnier to watch them running back to get back to the goal square before the bounce - couple of times we didn’t make it - but WC players were late too

Newman is funny to watch running - daughter said what’s he doing - waddling like a duck

Destiny is now in our hands. This is how I see it playing out... we sneak into finals & enjoy a much needed week off. Then we get key personnel back for week one of finals.

Then we win a seemingly impossible interstate Elimination Final and that sets the trend for emulating what the Bulldogs accomplished in 2016. They too had injury problems late in the season but got a heap of players return from injury for their memorable finals campaign.
Aim higher, a win by a few goals more than the hawks and we jump them and stay in Melb

Vossy, we’ve had our 3rd tall fwd in the side all year….listen to the fans

Completely ridiculous Young was played forward against Port whilst Kemp was making Ratagulea look like Jono Brown

Haven't been inspired to post for a while.
Regardless of how shite the Eagles are, our lack of height forward resulted in a a more open forward line and the need to lower our eyes. The smalls then had the speed at the drop of the ball and more importantly apply manic pressure to hold it in.

We need to follow this formula and not bomb it (hack kick) to Charlie and Harry's heads. Take the game on with handball run and carry and we can match it with most.

Kemp 3 rd tall forward enough said.

I hope this was a lesson for the coaching panel. need to be brave with selection and game plan

Happy to disagree.

Was average, not even in our best 10.

He always starts well.

By foot was average, by hand was blink & you miss it.

He drifted through the arcs & had big moments.

People say he doesn’t lay enough tackles.

Hasn’t got the tank yet.

As did 14 others.
Maybe I expect to much from him... Has skills for sure.

I'm happy to sit here in 12 months time after he has put in massive pre season and is one of our best.

Right now, I think he is mid list, average and doesn't put in

Young played the first 4 games of the season and stood up. He's no Weitering but he needs to play due to team balance.
I just want Young to succeed, but it seems to me that his football brain and football body aren't quite in the same space time continuum...

You have blinkers on.

Was nowhere near huge... Disposal efficiency was poor, didn't put in at times, butchered teammates.

Very harsh.

Was asked to play everywhere today conditions were very windy. Not sure why your so hard on him will be a beast with another preseason.

You clearly have an agenda against Elijah. He's had 25 possessions and 3 tackles playing all over the ground. Personally I thought he's had a great first season at a new club and fitted in seamlessly.

People forget he's only played 30 odd AFL games. Will play 200 games for us.
