Currently am going with option B. Hmmm

A) Naicos, Mckenna and Chandler + heap of cash

B) Naicos, LDU and Chandler

C) Naicos, Mckenna and Ziebell + some cash

Still no love for Jack Buckley ? Have you seen his role ? Taking a massive slice of Cummings intercepts and chips.
Crozier and Buckley should at least get a mention this week at those prices.
Difficult price to get to though. And there are many other options this week.

Agree he looks good. Crozier on the bubble next week so can wait.

Really wanted to start Crozier. Went with Jones after he wasn't named for R1. Rekon he's a pretty solid pick at 200k.

Yepp, fair enough re price. I can see a nice 80's avge though and no assurance Crozier can do any better. We know that role at GWS does score points.
He's come back from his injury stint looking damn good.
Cant have all of them sure, but it is sometimes surprising how narrow the focus can be in here.

He's not on the bubble until next week, so still an option.

Yeah I might flick someone like Ratagolea to Croz with a bit of DPP magic. Bowes will be aswell though.

Unfortunately I think being more aggressive last week might have been the play. Should have gone early on Flanders>Chandler.

Prob because people have huge issues to fix, so the key targets needs to be narrowed down pretty significantly even with 3 trades. It can actually be easy sometimes to convince yourself to go to some type of POD type pick, ignoring key targets/issues that should not be ignored. I've def done that before...

Sticking fat with Hayden Young for one more week, the Derby should be feisty and Longmuir will have them going in hard.
Ended up doing Noah Anderson > LDU, Chesser > Chandler and Greene > Caminiti. Thoughts?

Okay, think I'm gonna keep Darcy for another week so Chandler can come in.

So:
Hopper > LDU
Dale > Daicos
Flanders > Chandler

Leaves $40k. Hopefully Hodor doesn't spud it up again this week so I can do a straight swap for Cameron. I'm already expecting his price to drop about $35k as it is.

Phillips, Ryan and Crozier the others on the watchlist for replacing deadwood.

I'd add Worpel to that list. Despite the flogging he played well i thought. Good signs so far, especially for that price.
Already got him, lost weight over the preseason back to roughly his 2019 playing weight. With Mitchell and JOM gone he's back to the number 1 option for Hawthorns in and under. Should be good for 90+ every week.

Too many Defenders with low price tags already for most people I'd say, if you started with him good on you but with Constable, Wilmot, Jones, Ginbey, McKenna making up huge number of defenses makes trading in a Buckley hard.

That last one looks a bit silly to me. Wasted trade.
Greene went alright, he just missed one or two easy ones which is not normal for him.
You're just replacing like for like. KPF types arnt normally worth chasing. Greene likely a slow burner, but at least has 100% Job Security and might jag the odd 80-90pt game to kick his price when he kicks 3or4....and he will.

Yepp sure. I'm not trying to sell him, but he definitely should be appearing on the radar in here. There's always some that have a need at all prices.
One or two weeks with McKenna/Ginbey/Jones types pumping out shit scores and it starts to hurt.
If i was running with Goater for instance i'd definitely consider a switch that costs bugger all for a best 22.

Times have changed...was a time i'd be more worried about him getting a stray elbow. His brother is going alright too just quietly.
Might need two elbows ;)

That's what it would take - some kind of scumbag O'Dea act.

Hopefully that isn't possible in today's game. You'd like to think so

Are O'Dea and Greening still with us ? Hellova moment.
Reckon Greening would have been a gun SC pickup :thumbsu:

Strange how we also revere some guys that threw their elbows around. Diesel Williams notoriously had the "pointiest" elbows around and levelled plenty...but we dont talk about it. There's still that talk about Robert Harvey having his only nasty moment when he knocked Williams out cold....so it did eventually catch up to him. Never even got cited for it. Elbows are terrible things.
Probably getting off track a bit :drunk:
