I don't reckon. Ziebell actually throws his body around and tries to win lose balls. He could lose kick-ins, but aside from that, I think he's OK.

I think we just have to ride him until he breaks. If he does get thrown forward one game, let's hope Clarko tells us before hand, otherwise just boot him the following week.

Ziebell was really good on the weekend, and Hall was absolutely horrific. Don't look at the stats – it was honestly one of the worst defensive games I've ever witnessed.

Clarkson is smart enough to leave Ziebell back for now

"Elite user" is a bit kind but yes, since Simpkin and LDU have both missed 2 games, Sheezel and Ziebs could be leading the BnF count at the moment.

yep should have said in that role he is an excellent user, which he is. Obvs not under pressure as much but hardly seen him miss a target this yr and makes v good decisions. 87% DE is excellent

I don't think he will, but if Clarko was ever going to do it, it would have to be this week.

Comben's LTI + CCJ concussion leaves us with precisely one AFL grade KPF in Larkey.

But it'd be obvious ahead of time from training if JZ was preparing to switch roles for the week.

I think Logue would be the better choice as a one-week forward stop-gap though.

I traded into Bailey Dale, similar thing.
Kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't on those ones.
He's been tolerable and there seems a decent chance he'll pick up DPP, then he's only going up against DEFs.
But yeah, he'll either tread water and it'll be you, two other men and a dog on him or he'll get back in the guts and everyone else will grab him 130k cheaper.

Trying to hang on to McKenna, Ashcroft and Chandler as long as I can given their scoring potential. The extra dollars I can eventually squeeze out of them will also be handy given the current dead weight on my bench (Roberts, Kenstable and probably Sturt; to a lesser extent Davey and Johnson)

Having the Blues playing first this week is great as it means I can loop my Blues rookies and have a second crack at my weakest spots (D6 - Seamus/Cincotta and M8 - Baker/Hollands).

But everytime I traded him in. He gets injured at the back end of the season which ruins my finals match up.

He's just a super solid scorer, rarely puts in a low one, and their upcoming run is friendly.
A rifling through the bargain bin, can only go Parish/ Gulden types, Clarry's not happening.
Have Cogs, too, and it's frustrating, at least he's turned it back around, though.

Yep. Ziebell 2023 is a far different beast to Ziebell 2021 I’d say. Ziebell 2021 was the ultimate seagull and did nothing. This year he’s actually competing and doing his utmost for North.
