Grundy unlikely to get fwd status.
Sorry , thought he was talking about going down from Grundy to Gawn.
I meant Gawn.
Grundy sub-20%, can't see him getting it, agree 👍

Locked in:

Jones > Cincotta
Pou > Oliver

with $116,000 left.

Is it worth boosting Greene > Simpson/Angwin this round for extra cash to bring in another premo next round?

Only considering due to looking like a lack of upcoming rookies, and Greene's got to go soon, yet not 100% sold on either of them

tooserious is wrong, he didn't go back to back 80s

put his actual score in (58), and he'll need 3 80s to touch $300k

60s or 70s more realistic, so you're looking at 4 weeks to make just over $100k

The concern is, does he survive that long?
Update: they've now upgraded to Rd7 and they have him averaging 69 and won't get to 300K until Rd12 if he plays all games....a BIG if imo....

Stewart top 3 defender averaging 107 could be better than a midfielder averaging 115 as it might get a weak defense score off your field.

A Dunkley 110 up forward is more valuable then Petracca 115 in your midfield IMO.

True but
Essentially I’ve got it so Cincotta will be on field, Wilmot emergency on other line either way I go. So rookies aren’t coming into it for me - McKenna D5 Cincotta D6 or McKenna D6 Cincotta M8 (Wilmot emergency on other line).

Stewart got injured Q1 of game 1.

Averaging about 125 outside of that.

Fair

I'm keeping Comben as a loop this week but might convert him to a $102k R/F donut (i.e. Madden) when the bubble-boy cupboard is bare
I have Roberts, Kentstable and Long as my ded rookie donut loops. Can't afford any more plus i can loop 3 positions worth of rookies.

Nah, I wouldn’t be wasting a boost on Simpson/Angwin.

Lame as it is, I think I'll bring Simpson in just for the lols.

There's no maxed out rookies either, only dead ones, so that's even lamer as it won't even be a money maker.

Feel like giving Wilmot and Hollands another week to milk whatever cash gen I can get now before things really dry up.

Very tempted to do the following:

-Greene to Simpson
-Cowan to Cincotta
-Grundy to Gawn

$313k in the bank to help me upgrade over the next couple of weeks (and upgrade next week without a downgrade)

I'd be hoping Gawn gets FWD DPP in a few weeks

Anybody else considering or doing Grundy to Gawn? It's essentially a downgrade (+$73.6k), for similar output, which is expected to increase as Gawn kicks into gear (also Gawn gets KOTD action compared to Grundy).

I'm thinking both outcomes are positive:
1) Gawn continues this split with Grundy and gets FWD DPP
2) Gawn's ruck time increases, meaning he doesn't get FWD DPP, but if his ruck time increases, that means more points, and he'll be premo scoring again

I think Grundy to Gawn is a great trade

If I needed 70k to make another really good trade happen, I would do it. Either way actually, I would do it. Reminds me of the old Gulden to Heeney downgrade of a few years back.

Gawn is only relevant to Grundy owners. I would bring him in if I could.

I’m looking very closely at it. Grundy needs to go. Cincotta a must trade in (1) and I really to do an upgrade (2). If I’m going to boost, Grundy to Gawn is a lot more attractive than boosting for a Simpson/Angwin type.

Interesting you're trading Mills out, when some are trading him in, and lots are looking at him as an upgrade target next week and beyond.

Did you start him and have you had enough?
I started him and i'm sick of his bs

Yeah the extra cash from Grundy to Gawn would make Hopper to Oliver comfortable, or I could get Ginbey to Sinclair/Sicily.

unsure what to do this week.

Poo has to go
Cincotta to come in

Then
Ferg to anyone under $534k
slim pickings though - Young catches my eye - Brayshaw sounds like he is over his niggles
annoyingly $300 short of Mills, $5k short of Steele or $10k short of Sicily or Sinclair. Ferg & Ginbey gets me there but means keeping Poo

or boost Ginbey to Simpson as well, which opens all options for the upgrade.

Distinct lack of cash generation on my bench with Constable, Madden and Roberts all dead. Johnson out for two weeks hurts as it looked like he had a better role on the weekend. JVR, Ferg and Pou close to maxed out/or maxxed out.

143k in the bank.

Grundy has to go and Setterfield I either get rid of now, or hold through will upgrading around him?

With lack of cash gen and no real safe rookies on the horizon(?) I am tempted to use this week to try and set myself up to complete a side, this means likely skipping Oliver and probably English as well.

I had originally flirted with
Grundy - English
Ginbey - Cincotta
Setters- Oliver.

However, I am thinking this option might be better.

Pou - Cincott
Grundy - Gawn
Ginbey (or Ferg) - Trac (48k bank), Sinclair (108k), Steele (111k), Anderson (93k), Sic (106k)

Of that group, probably more confident with Sinclair and Sic as being top 8 for position, Trac should be top 10-15 the way mids are tracking this year.

Would leave Mckenn and Cincotta on field in DEF, Ashcroft MID and then using DPP either Hollands, Wilmot, Mitchell, JVR as the other rookie on field.

Sinclair, Sic option should allow me to get another look at Steele.

Friday nights game will give me a good opportunity to loop a few of my rookies to see how they score and may help dictate what transpires - ie Hollands, Wilmot.

What do you guys think?
