Nick Nicks-Ricciuto?
Did we ever get an explanation of why mcadam left?
is it too late to try again to get Balme? Can I start that rumour?
Not sure how his health is though.
I’d take Balme on life support over Kelly…The casual lunch that brought a club favourite’s time at Tigerland to an end
Neil Balme, a key part of Richmond’s return to AFL prominence, talks about the “briefly awkward” discussion that made it clear this would be his last year at the club.www.theage.com.au
"He came close to leaving Richmond towards the end of 2021 when Mark Ricciuto led an Adelaide push seeking a football mentor for the relatively inexperienced new coach Matthew Nicks and his football boss Adam Kelly. But Balme’s medical specialist urged him not to make the geographic career change."

The jet ballwinner will be a restricted free agent in 2025 and will consider his options including guaranteed blockbuster seven-figure offers from Victorian rivals next year.
The Kangaroos are keen to re-sign Davies-Uniacke early to thwart poaching raids from a long list of interested clubs including St Kilda, Essendon and Adelaide who want more top-line talent.
Gorringe on his podcast mentioned Sheezel might be annoyed about not breaking into the midfield - I wonder if we have asked him the question as well
We all know Sheez would struggle to break into the midfield here too.Gorringe on his podcast mentioned Sheezel might be annoyed about not breaking into the midfield - I wonder if we have asked him the question as well
We’re not desperate.Clarko's already flagged giving Sheezel more midfield time. And it's Clarko, so it will actually happen too.
I feel like the media just lump our name into every guy that has a contract question over his head because they know how desperate we are.
Hi SheezGorringe on his podcast mentioned Sheezel might be annoyed about not breaking into the midfield - I wonder if we have asked him the question as well
Still needs another few years of absolutely no hope at North to be a genuine target, just like LDU now and McKay last year.We are talking about poaching Sheezel now? hahah
The kid wouldn't come to us for $2mil per year over 15
I think they wait longer as clubs would already have draft strategies in action regarding forecast academy/father son candidates. They will wait for 2025 to not mess up all the extras suns get again this year.
Clearly incorrect.Hi Sheez
Just wondering if you’d like to join us at Adelaide, where you also won’t get to play midfield.
Cheers, Maffew
Nothing gets a bloke to sign the deal on the table like the alternative being 10 years at the Crows. We’re not desperate.
We offered Gulden a 10 year deal when he only wanted 3 or 4

Absolutely. Club said they would be aggressive, and if rumours are correct, they are being just that. Will Day, Mason Redman, Errol Gulden … had a crack at them all! Can’t be said we aren’t tryingNothing wrong with throwing super deals out there. This is what I don't get. We run around as a footy board accusing the crows of not trying hard enough to lure big fish and when it is revealed we did and failed, somehow we were in the wrong?
As far as I'm concerned, if we have the cash throw around as many super contracts to as many pure midfield stars as possible to come to the club. We need to find that midfielder somehow.
