The 2023 rebel VFLW season commences on Saturday, March 25, with six matches scheduled across a bumper opening weekend.

The VFLW side will take on the Box Hill Hawks at 11am, also at the NEC Hangar where the Bombers are set to unfurl their 2022 Premiership flag.

All matches in the 2023 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website (afl.com.au) and AFL Live Official App. Further broadcast details will be confirmed at a later time.

Entry to rebel VFLW matches is free. Where venues host VFL and VFLW double-headers, entry fees will apply after half time of the VFLW match.

Fixtures for all remaining rounds will be released shortly.

Listened to the last quarter. We seemed to have more of it, they finally managed to break through on the scoreboard.

Side seems to be much stronger with the inclusions over the past 3 weeks or so. Gelling together better also. Nowhere near the air of invincibility we had last season, but we might make something of the season yet.

Or sack Cloke.

Go to the AFL ladder on the AFL site and change the competition filter from "Toyota AFL Premiership" to "VFLW" :)
The filters were only giving me all different AFL seasons and rounds. Now I've got it. Has us 4th somehow despite having the most points (with other games not completed). Should be at the top - runs on the board.

The ladder was consistently ass about last year too, so I go here now.
