VFLW 2023 Season - Preliminary Final - Bombers lose to the Borough by 5 goals. Season over.

The 2023 rebel VFLW season commences on Saturday, March 25, with six matches scheduled across a bumper opening weekend.

The VFLW side will take on the Box Hill Hawks at 11am, also at the NEC Hangar where the Bombers are set to unfurl their 2022 Premiership flag.

All matches in the 2023 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website (afl.com.au) and AFL Live Official App. Further broadcast details will be confirmed at a later time.

Entry to rebel VFLW matches is free. Where venues host VFL and VFLW double-headers, entry fees will apply after half time of the VFLW match.

Fixtures for all remaining rounds will be released shortly.

Saints did a lot if the attacking since I tuned in that quarter, our legends down back held up nicely. We went forward late in the quarter with a couple of attacks but the siren blew before we could make something of it.

Listened to the last quarter. We seemed to have more of it, they finally managed to break through on the scoreboard.

Side seems to be much stronger with the inclusions over the past 3 weeks or so. Gelling together better also. Nowhere near the air of invincibility we had last season, but we might make something of the season yet.

Only good thing is you can hear someone yelling out coaching instructions from the side lines... "Reese don't get sucked in" etc

The filters were only giving me all different AFL seasons and rounds. Now I've got it. Has us 4th somehow despite having the most points (with other games not completed). Should be at the top - runs on the board.
