In terms of media coverage, Tramway may present challenges - but the club can get all the video footage they like for analysis. They have cameras on the high poles for behind the goals vision at both ends, they use drones for media pieces, and they have a scissor lift that they bring in and set up cameras on the wing when they want to.

FWIW I liked Henson (and Drummoyne) too when we played NEAFL. They're further to travel (for me) but still a lot less distant than BISP. The key thing is that when the match is a curtain raiser for an SCG match it is way more convenient than any other alternative. I

I can understand everyone involved in organising the VFL and coverage of the VFL is unhappy with Tramway, but it suits me just fine. And I'm pretty sure that applies to numerous fans who live locally too.

Henson and Drummoyne are both awkward for parking. At least with Tramway it's good for public transport or you only have to park once. I park over the road in the school.

Confirmation that our VFL game is AFTER our practice match against - Meanwhile Sydney will meet Brisbane Lions at Tramway Oval outside the SCG at 3pm in another curtain-closer, with the two clubs to meet in an AFL practice match at 12pm.

Time for school to come home mate. Don't be judgy.

Exactly right. I left to pick my son up from school. (That and because I parked in a 2 hour zone.) I would have loved to stay on.

I spoke to Gould and he confirmed his back injury to me. I asked him how he did it and he said actually just standing. I didn't quite get to the bottom of that. I think it might be a side effect of doing weights etc and straining his muscles.

I've been happy to hand out brickbats to our media team, so this time kudos to them for the report.
Cursory, but nonetheless appreciated. :thumbsu:

Indeed.
The funny thing is that the Lions looked much prettier in their execution but our guys, especially the non-listed players, top-ups and walk-ons just scrapped and scrapped and scrapped the whole game. Terrific signs for the season ahead.
Blakey looked 3 cuts above everyone else on the paddock in limited minutes. I sure hope he's recovering fully.
Hugo Hall-Kahan at CHF? Wow!
