Somewhere between a mid 2nd to early 3rd round pick will get it done. Nothing stupid like we did with CCJ to get an uncontracted player in the door

Has played 43 games in 4 years and dropped for their first final, Sydney are kidding themselves If think getting a top 20 pick.

Will be a handy get for us, at worst is an upgrade on what we have and at best the upside is there to become a key player and in the age bracket of our list.
That's a lot of typing when you could have just said PSD.

When you add everything...

WCE get 2 & 7
NM get 1, 18 (20 if GWS beat Port)
GWS get 3

Unless 18 and 20 go to GC for pick 4 (where they'll still be worth 14 and 16 when they match a Walter bid) it's a bad trade.
Assuming we have to bid on Sanders won’t those picks just get swallowed up by his bid?

So
1. Reid and Sanders
Vs
2. Curtain, McKelcher and Sanders

Is that roughly the equation?

Yep it’s an awful trade.

This forum was posturing a week ago about making West Coast take Curtin at 1 if they want him but now we’re trading out 2 & 3 for Reid and shit all.

Not to mention to even make it look slightly attractive we’d have to include GC who will more than likely not want to trade pick 4 strictly for points.

Just spit-balling a hypothetical which won't be worth doing if Sanders bid is involved obviously but though I'd have a crack at it.

Dogs trade picks 10 and 17 to GC for pick 4 (pick 43 equiv extra pts to GC)
North split pick 3 for pick 6 and 13-16 from GWS (pick 26-32 equiv to North)
GC on-trade pick 10 to North for Port 1st (14-18) and pick 38 (pick 54 plus pts to GC)
North trade picks 2, 10 to WCE for pick 1 and 19. Could add a swap of our F3 for their F2 perhaps or something?

North end up with 1, 6 (GWS), 13-16 (GWS), 19 (WCE)
WCE get 2 and 10
Dogs get 4
GC have 14-18 (Port 1st) and 17 (Dogs)
GWS get pick 3

And the crazy seasons hasn’t begun yet…..certainly shaping up as an interesting one this year, with many scatter gun approaches and tall tales, padded wafting from media experts, way to much over thinking of players liking Insta picks, inappropriate Insta picks, supposed sightings and wars over tasty delectables, bonkers trade scenarios ….ah never a dull moment..let the fun begin
l ❤️ this time of the year

would defs consider this. having 4 picks in the top 20 would do wonders to both filling in positional needs aswell as quality. reid 1 o sullivan 6 then archer reid and edwards at the other 2 picks.
