Hello Shinboners!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

How is Brayden George tracking? I didn't hear anything about him this season. Do you guys think he'll play in 2024 after time off with the knee injury.

Brett Ratten said about 6 weeks after he started training he thinks he might be more talented than both Wardlaw and Sheezel.

Brady going gangsta with the glasses?

I liked the sneaky edit they did to take out the Chol part of Rawlings answer.
I like the bit where he said McKay could have had a contract any time he was ready, and that time never came.

Cal Twomey, and the nuffies on the McKay thread, can GAGF

He went past Naughton as Footscray's best tall forward and Naughton just got a 69 year extension.
I wonder if Croft told them he wasnt nominating and they reacted by signing Naughton for 69 years?
Strange choice doing a contract that long 'IF' you were going to have that much tall talent on the books.

Yeah, that was the grin of someone who has already locked in some moves.
Even though his words were boring as batshit, he was practically bursting out of his skin by the end.

Reckon you're right, I dare say we have more than just Stephens and Fisher locked away...

Interesting… it seems we never formally put an offer to McKay.
fair enough, that's one interpretation - the other is that North from the outset were prepared to match whatever Ramanauskas could find in the market ('we told his manager 12 months ago...') and they never came back and said we'll stay on these terms.

I take it to mean that McKay wanted to go from the start.

Not sure if it's just me but we've been extra busy this season in terms of targeting players. The reassuring theme being that players want to come down to Arden St.

We couldn't have imagined this after that 2022 list management catastrophe and what followed. Huge turnaround.

We're coming.

Sorry I don’t think I was paying attention these past 213 pages. Give me a comparison for Dylan Stephens, where does he play, who does he play like/may have the potential to play like? Thanks

Hard running wingman type player. Drafted at pick 5 in 2019, after playing senior footy in the sanfl. Hasn’t come on.

Played 46 games and only cracked 20 possessions 5 times. Will phillips mid about half as fit and got 20 possessions plus in 5 from 32 games.

Stephens was one of the rare swans to have a good game in last years grand final.

Left footer, not outstanding disposal but certainly not a bad kick.

That was one big Cheshire cat grin at the end when he's asked about how different our draft hand might look going into the draft, but that's about all I could take away from that.
Must be semi-pre agreements waiting on the McKay compo.

WC 1 and 20 to North
North 3 and 5 to WC Plus 14 and 19 to GC
GC 5 to North

North Pick 20 from WC+ pick 20 to GWS
GWS Pick 8 and Haynes to North

Reid, McKercher and O'Sullivan
+ Haynes, Fisher and Stephens
