Was the high risk pick at time that suns shouldn’t make as their development is poor. Andrew still looks super skinny. He's not looked good at all today. Positioning has been terrible.

How much does he weigh? Looks like he's in the mid 70 kgs but to hold his ground in the contest he would need to get himself into the mid 80 kgs. He's not looked good at all today. Positioning has been terrible.
He's a second year player. And a skinny key position at that. People thinking he's going to set the world on fire are in dreamworld. But to say he's rubbish after one match is premature. Time and the right development he could be anything. Don't always be so quick to derideMac Andrew looks rubbish
These are the same people saying DGB not getting games means he'll never make it.He's a second year player. And a skinny key position at that. Wrong - I think DGB will make it and think we should be playing him right now. These are the same people saying DGB not getting games means he'll never make it.
Yeah and that annoys the shit out of me as think of any key defender - off the top of my head Steven May, Aliir Aliir, Darcy Moore, Jacob Weitering - they all took at least 3-4 years in the system before they were regular first team players. This is Denver's third year he's what not yet 22 and people think that at 22 he's not going to make it.These are the same people saying DGB not getting games means he'll never make it.
Then you'd trade pick 6 and slide down the order to where the next best small forward is rated and hopefully pick up a future first along with it.Even if you had picks 3 and 5 before it and were guaranteed a FS who was potential top 20?
a stockpiling of one type of player just because they are best available might be leaving you with a hole in your list - I'm not saying you'd go for a player slated to go above top 15 but if you got two tall key position players 3 and 5 and had McCabe coming in pick 6 would be for the best available small forward
This is all hypothetical and hopefully we get Watson. Moir is another we should look at if The Wiz is off the table
MM: Does he have "Mac" in his name?Unfortunately for freo their pick is off to Melbourne and gives them a shot at landing Reid.
I mentioned mac Andrew a couple weeks back as kpd option , back into the side today and keen to see how he goes. He is Very good friends with cmac and then there is the cj connection.
Was disappointed we didn’t pick up Noah Long last year for that reason…MM: Does he have "Mac" in his name?
GC: Yes, his first name is Mac.
MM: How do you feel about Ned Long?
GC: Is he Michael Long's son?
MM: Yes
F4 if using the precedent from last yearWould be interesting if the AFL allow pick purchasing and let us include Riccardi in the deal. Hand over a mill and get pick 7 or 8 + Riccardi. Would we need to also send back a future pick?
Out of contract I think? We’ll tack on another $38 to the salary dump and they can chuck him in. So we take $1,000,0038, they send us pick 8 and Riccardi. What would Riccardi cost?
Until his recent good form, a 3rd rounder may have been enough.
Now, knowing how much GWS love early picks, I can see them asking for pick 3 (our first) for Riccardi and one of their firsts (currently 8 and 10).
I didn’t watch his game on the weekend but prior to playing seniors he’d been kicking bags at VFL level.
I see him as a very similar type of player to Lewis, but maybe it would work.
More flexible? Can play both ends.Is Riccardi an upgrade on Kosi? Yes.
But by how much? That will determine whether we're prepared to pay whatever the price will be
