Totally disagree.
Reckon you might lack objectivity on Kosi tbh. I've been fairly negative on him in the past and you make me seem like his biggest fan.

I don't rate Kosi too highly, but removing him from the side to replace with Riccardi doesn't move the needle too much one way or another. Riccardi is nothing more than solid depth, and potentially someone with a more steady presence up forward.

We need depth at the moment, but he's no massive piece for the future.

Did not say he was. Let’s get multiple forwards. You used the word depth. Than some XFactor. I do believe he would be better than Kosi. More consistent, more reliable. It is more than just talls. We can do better.

What would Riccardi cost?

Until his recent good form, a 3rd rounder may have been enough.

Now, knowing how much GWS love early picks, I can see them asking for pick 3 (our first) for Riccardi and one of their firsts (currently 8 and 10).
I would offer a future 2nd for Riccardi, future 3rd
If I was hawthorn. I don't know if we accept that or not of course.

IWe are not getting him for less than a future second.

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Top 25 pick?..

yeah nah, wide pass thanks

i’d volunteer to clean the cement from Kozi‘s hands on a daily basis before doing that deal

There is talk about a rift in Blues btw Weitering and Young. That could see Young exit blues and they may go all in on Ben McKay.
Would we be interested in Lewis Young, 202 cm, 99kg defender?
Drafted pick 49 to the Dogs in 2016 draft and traded to Blues for Pick 52 in 2021

Maybe one of depth players for him or one of our late picks or F4.

PS : can we pls take the Anderson talk to another thread

I rate Young.

If he's on the outer he would be an upgrade on Frost.

He was on song in 2022 and ended up getting an extn till 2026.

If he is on the outer, will blues be willing to get him off the books for a F4 or will they ask for kings ransom. Doesn't seem to be in great form this yr and got omitted.

Staggering that people think he’s an upgrade on Kosi

He’s no better than Greene, who won’t be on the list when we’re challenging
I don’t know anything about this guy but presumably MM thinks he’s an upgrade on someone or we wouldn’t be looking at him? Maybe he’s going to replace Jeka as a utility tall option? Maybe they can see a role for him that we can’t?

OOC, no contract offer, averaging under 10 games a year currently

Not in a position to ask for that
It will all come down to how he performs for the rest of the year. If he keeps kicking bags of 3-5 consistently 2nd rounder as a minimum. If he get dropped again, goes in and out of the side, a third round pick may be realistic
