Schache did this in 2017I don't think you can recontract and then trade the player in the same year. Might be wrong, but I remember reading this.

If any of you ITK’s ever feel overwhelmed with your info my DM’s are always open for you to offload it and take that weight.
Just a concerned Hawks supporter that is here for you all.
Yep, 1st and 2nd round picks. Just admit you were wrongBeing that you’re getting into the pedantry thing - when the trade happened those were picks 12 and 19.

They call him the Count of list management. Its because essendon have an awesome list. His best move was swooping on Hawks NGA player Irving Mosquito who went on to play 2 games.I wish Dodoro was our list manager. That guy is a genuine a$$hole every trade season and Essendon have an absolute gangbusters list as a result.
Because apparently Taranto is the worst user of the ball in the history of the game according to Kermit the frogAre we getting Taranto now?
Why is this still being discussed?
But you’re backing up the pinhead who was suggesting they were both 1st roundersHow was I wrong - I wasn’t the one arguing with you, pinhead.

I know you’re being sarcastic but Essendon have a very good list, the fact they can’t put it together on the field has nothing to do with Dodoro! I personally would welcome a bit of Dodoro attitude when it comes to trading!I wish Dodoro was our list manager. Correct SYL - a massive pre season coming up for Shaggy
Spoke to him before the PCM - had his exit interview and asked Sam where he would be played in 2024 - Sam told him that the club see him as a forward, so he is going to be working on his forward craft over the off season.
Derm is at this stage going to be his mentor and assist him with his forward craft as well.
Also, lots of people saying he wants to head home or be traded back to Perth - he's settled in Melbourne and really enjoys it here and has no inkling to return home.
Things are always fluid but ideally head of development Andy Collins believes DGB can become a versatile tall who can play either end of the ground.

I would hope so but the Lions might want a bit more than they paid for him 12 months agoSo do we actually think the gunners deal will happen?
I wonder which club could pay him a bunch of money? More money than any other club could?"Bulldogs’ young gun Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is tipped to become the “highest paid player” in the AFL when he signs a new deal next season, Fox Footy’s Leigh Montagna believes."

Have no defense, poor forward line and a slow small midfield. Yep an amazing list.I know you’re being sarcastic but Essendon have a very good list, the fact they can’t put it together on the field has nothing to do with Dodoro! Don't look for consistency across trades. It isn't there. In what world is:
1. Brockman not worth more than pick 44 when the Crows knocked backed a second rounder for McAdam?
2. Kosi not worth a high 20's/low 30's pick when the Cats won't even take 24 for the Rat?
Sleepy Mark, tell them THEY'RE dreaming

We may not have given up on pick 1 yet. We're probably waiting to see if they end up with something else in-between from any #1 trade swaps perhaps.
