People looking at us trying to get the Magpie forward must realize we all ready have to very good small forwards in Higgins and Butler.
Higgins since he has been with the Saints has averaged over 1.5 goals a game which is as good as any small forward running around and Butler is more of the defensive forward who lays more inside 50 tackles than any small forward and even he averages more than a goal per game.
Ginivan is a good small forward but he would be behind our other small forwards knowing he likes to play for free kicks instead of tackling.

If we are looking at anyone it has to be a player we need - and I would rather the Eagles guy they were talking about or another mid that could be useful.

In years past we need a small forward but we now have 2 very good small forwards and it must be remembered we will also be running a lot of the mids in the forward line now through rotation , we also have Phillipou and Hotton who will be trying to hold a spot in the forward line with the likes of Higgins , Butler , Henry , Owens , Sharman , King , Hayes , Membery , Hammer , Billings so spots in the forward line could be hard to get.
