I wasn't aware that you can sign a contract to do a job and then just not show up to do it and expect to get paid.

Can I try that, do you think?

At the very least you'd think there would be clauses that cover that behaviour in a contract.

Multiple players have done it.

I mean anyone who been on this board more than 5 years would know this. As much as we bitch and moan about rumours generally by now we know if there's anything juicy in the works.

When was the last time we were all shocked by a trade target we landed without knowing a lot about it before hand?

I think what has made it hard is all the NSW and Qld teams have alot of positivity about them this off season.

If the rumour about Nicks and Kelly going to Sydney is correct then we mjght be chasing someone from the Swans or GWS but getting someone decent out of GWS is probably not as easy for other clubs as it once was.

Yeah but both of them together is a bit sus, if Nicks was going away surely he'd take his family.

Mutineer suggestion of Cooper Hamilton would be a good acquisition for us. If they were going Sydney/GWS player hunting
