yes on the vast majority of occasions and normally with surprising openness. with some ***** here it makes me very reluctant to share - is there a way I can actually block posters from reading my content as opposed to just blocking them outright?

No but knowing they aren't going to annoy you for a while is worth the pay off. I don't block people for long but sometimes people just get annoying. If you ever got a response from the Brisbane game email, I'd love to read it in a PM, if you don't, absolutely respect that.

Soligo should be an inside midfielder
Hinge and Milera are our half backs
Smith shouldnt be getting a game
Jones on a wing is good but he's no NWM.

Preferably we add Williams and NWM to our wings but I doubt NWM is coming.
NWM yes
Williams NFW

all good mate, but you are totally clueless in this regard and I dont know what to tell you.

I spent detailed time chatting with Tim Silvers recently and he mentioned some of the emails I had sent were discussed within the club (Nicksy and Silvers) and some were raised directly with the AFL even.

Perhaps just dont read them is my suggestion going forward. Goodbye

OK was bored at work so sent the Big Boys at the club another email inc Hamish and Reidy (plus Nicksy, Kelly etc)

Tarryn Thomas opportunity - the 'missing piece' elite mid?

Morning Gents

After bidding on this prodigious talent in the 2018 Super draft (before our ultimate Chayce Jones selection), he is gettable from all accounts, esp with Kangas abundance of highly drafted mids along with their strong chance of trading up for Reid this year. And pick 9 should do it (according to ‘expert analysis’ on SEN this morning) with Bombers, Sydney and others interested. Assuming Kangas may release him I suppose it does leave the question of whether there may be other skeletons in the closet and our clubs policy on bringing in young men that have had some troubles in their relative youth (I was all for going after Dusty Martin on his first major contract extension back in 2013/2024 but he had also had behavioural issues and his player manager, Ralph Carr, had trouble finding buyers at that stage on a reported 500-600k / year ish for a 4 year contract from memory. The potential was always there though with Dusty and upon maturing would have been the buy of the century). I see similar strong upside with Thomas and would be exactly what our midfield needs as a burst player from stoppage with exquisite skills, and exhibiting both inside and outside mid attributes.

Bailey Smith also a chance but clearly both Bailey and Tarryn have had some issues and I understand Smith’s stress and anxiety identified before the draft (and to be fair have arisen during his first few years as a professional athlete) scared away interstate clubs and probably a higher risk factor even (but admittedly I don’t really know).

Assuming we cant obtain GC Suns pick 4 for Mc Kerchner assuming Hawks don’t take him (or possibly Wilson/Sanders if available at pick 9), I hope we are looking at opportunities to bring elite talent in now whilst we still have peak Tex. This could include trading up for pick 4, using 9 to trade for a quality mid, bringing forward our 2024 first to avoid being used on Welsh etc. We have been the best performed club in the last 2 years securing 2 elite talents in Dawson (for way unders – nice work, somewhat payback for Tippett!) and Rankine paying a fairly full price. Decent crack at Day and Redman but unfortunately not always easy to dislodge and hopefully Philippou on next years ‘bring home’ list.

We weren’t that for off genuinely competing for the flag this year with a few more close wins and finishing top 4. Our best is as good as anyone’s and I would rate our chances against most top 8 teams in a big final at The G.

With Welsh to come next year (ideally 11-20, not top 10 so not sure if he needs a strict burgers and fries diet for the next 12 mths ONLY 😊) and the chance to bring in Sid Draper (perhaps bringing Arlo as a rookie this year) and its basically rebuild done, and with an elite midfield (Dawson, Thomas, Pedlar, Rachele, Draper, Soligo and more) along with the comps best forward line (certainly whilst we still have Tex performing and ideally a step up next year from Fog and TT) and an exceptionally cheaply built backline which you have genuinely done a remarkable job with (Murray, Hinge, Butts, Keane all freebies/rookies, Worrell for unders, Max a rare gift from Head Office and Milera returning to peak form).

Good luck over coming months guys but would love to see a plug and play elite talent brought into the midfield for next year (Tim Silvers mentioned we may look at last minute opportunities recently if they arose).

Look at you go!

Dont let them knockers get you down
.
Some of the most bestest(obvious) moves the Club has ever made are lifted straight from this board.

i suppose the dilemma is this. If you are thanked and encouraged to provide constructive input by the Clubs CEO, GM List Manager (and others) or cater to clueless and disrespectful anonymous BF numbnuts, you need to choose which course of action to follow.

Actually on second thoughts, its not really a dilemma after all is it

How cute, you believe the nice man meant it and was interested in your opinions.

How to ruin an entire Bf thread:

Post two random numbers without any context.

Disappear.
I’m surprised people were actually taking it seriously

He hates smith and i remember him saying if smith did an acl he wouldnt be missed , says it all really

On SM-G996B using BigFooty.com mobile app
Think it has more to do with hating most things AFC... as rarely has anything positive to say about the club.

Don't get me wrong, I don't enjoy reading from those think that the AFC can't do any wrong either... but I prefer to listen to those posters with more balanced views.
