TheAthlete refers to himself in the third person seven times in one paragraph. The rest of us are laughing at TheAthlete
The Athlete applauds your use of the Athlete in your post. Well played sir you are now a member of the The Athletes. It's a good place to be

Small rant.
Oakleigh was to play Tassie in Penguin today. The plan was to fly to Devonport and bus to Penguin. Devonport flight was cancelled.
Next flight was to Launceston at 9am then bus the 134km to Penguin. Flight delayed by half hour then cancelled due to leaking sink.
Can understand AFL Vic/Tas wanting to take the game to the regions but if you are going to a far flung region like Penguin then send the boys down the night before like they did the girls.
Going down the day of the match with all that travelling is just asking for trouble with how frail our airlines are currently.

bolded were not at the u16s, as you can see Vic Country should be a lot better in the u18s...
Lane ward is a top age under 18 player this season.

On the CTL App it says he is 2005 dob, he also played a few last year, so you are probably right, I must have got the wrong information from a news source. (Another article this year said it was his underage year, which adds more confusion tbh)
No big deal but he is def top age. Turned 18 not long ago. Gun player, very skilful and not scared. His lack of size might hurt his chances.

Other than adding maybe 5 players and moving a few around based on form and projections it will be pretty similar.

Off the top of my head, I would add Herbert from SA, Lombardo from GCS A and maybe a couple others, then take out Lane Ward ect, the top 10 looks about right, maybe Nash King drops out of the top 10?, Lalor goes up a bit, that's about it I think?

Can u make an updated top 20 from 2024. Surley Draper has to be coming in at number 1 now ?

Nope still at 2 imo, but It's a close race, both seem to be in that elite bracket, we'll see in the next 12 months how they go.

I believe the Vic teams only allow their underagers to play 2 champs games, to give the draft age kids more opportunity to shine I guess, it's why Finn O'Sullivan played the last 2 games against the Allies and VM and not all 4 like Draper.

A lot of talent coming out of the vic metro program this year. They would be likely favourites for the champs next year.
