Draper, Ashcroft and O'Sullivan made the team.
Sid Draper named on a forward flank when he played midfield all champs. I see they've been taking notes from the AFL All Australian selectors.

A lot of talent coming out of the vic metro program this year. They would be likely favourites for the champs next year.

nash king and isaac kako from the cannons?

With nash king I’m interested to see his upside as I don’t see him improving all that much. He also isn’t great by foot and doesn’t have X factor like some of the other mids on the list.

On the other hand Kako is all X factor and doesn’t have that consistency to his game just yet, which doesn’t really matter at the moment as he is still a bottom ager and Calder have him playing a difficult role so deep in the forward line for someone who struggles to take overhead marks.

do you see either of them cracking top 20

Coates Talent League this weekend, Levi Ashcroft with 36 disposals and 2 goals and Jayden Nguyen had 35 disposals for Calder Cannons.

Next year is going to be stacked with midfielders at the top end. O’Sullivan, Draper, Smillie and Smith all looking like guns plus Ashcroft and Nguyen. Lombard looking like a gun out of the Suns academy as well.

I'm looking forward to next year more than this year.

2024 I'm looking forward to most while 2025-29 are all worth my interest.

From a Tassie POV, it'll be interesting to see what 2027-32 conjures up.

Like the effort, but it's simply not going to happen in that structure.

1 x KPP player in the top 30 and he's pretty much a Caddy style 3rd tall at the moment to boot.

Can any body give me feedback on Josh Sanders (Geelong Falcons) think draft year is 2024

Saw him play a little bit at Senior Level in local Geelong Comp was impressed

Keen to read your thoughts on the Camporeale boys, Davo-27

Both look to be having good years at SANFL u18 level.

Statistically very similar too though you can see they’re playing different roles.

Strengths/weaknesses of both boys?
Why is there such a big gap in your ranking of them?

one is more of a midfielder and the other a hbf, Lucas seems more sharp with disposal and able to get around opponents better which is why he plays mid more often, the difference between 20 and 40 isnt huge skill-wise and things can change as they develop, but from what i have seen Lucas is a little better than Ben, both are good players and should be drafted IF they continue performing.

Looks like it's going to be a fantastic draft for Midfielders. O'Sullivan, Jagga and Nguyen are my personal favourites.

With nash king I’m interested to see his upside as I don’t see him improving all that much. He also isn’t great by foot and doesn’t have X factor like some of the other mids on the list.
There is zero physical development left for Nash, he was the poster boy of Man Childs. Saw him play u12 Vic and he looked like he was 15yrs old, just bullied kids off the park.
Still playing some good footy but there is no upside at all.

Queensland has named its state under 17 squad to take on the Victoria Country side in a showcase match up at Werribee on 13 August.

From the Lions academy, keep an eye out for 195cm Ryan Gilder.

think there have been a few withdrawals due to injury, sadly I've heard that includes Ryan Gilder who was slated to play in the midfield
