Not sure if we are keen on moving up to snag him... but it looks a chance if we want it bad enough.

Obviousy there was talk of the Dodson guy also... I'm not loving that idea though.

No idea if we are keen on him but I get the sense that we'd all be happy with that selection if it did eventuate

GWS, Swans & Richmond were always our best chances so still a live chance. would love us to go get armstrong or shanahan

Yeah I meant team infront of them. Like Essendon last year, pointless for them, if we were going to take Caddy we wouldn't have traded.

I think it’s the threat/bluff that the team in front will trade the pick to another team who also wants the same player

Irrelevant now that's he's gone, but as talented as he is, an undersized mid who lacks legitimate pace wouldn't be priority #1 for us IMO.

Talls or game breaking mids/forwards for mine if we're trading a F1.

It would be a really really great result.
He can actually impact as soon as next year.
I watched him play VFL and he moves well, looked a constant threat and just seemed so calm at that level.

The undersized mid is definitely a very good point. less of a need. i know pure ownage doesn't love him but i still think jack whitlock (or matt for that matter) is a very modern game suited fwd project
