Travaglia and Tauru is just about my dream draft. St Kilda fans will always complain but that would be a super result for them

They need mids badly if they keep the picks fans would want some form of explanation

Someone who won't go missing on Grand Final day.

Problem is that all starts in the centre. The reason why so many of our players played badly in 2022 and 2024 is that the centre clearance players were smashed, and it is impossible to have a good defence with the ball coming in that quickly and cleanly and the forward line will in turn get very poor delivery.

If WCE want Taj isn't that going to set a ripple effect in Cal's Phantom of which we end up with Dattoli, a KPF or Hynes? By using a best available approach

Travaglia will be a midfielder long term. He'll follow the Young (Freo) path into the midfield

p.s They should just be happy they still have a club. Nonsense club

A lot of ifs and buts we know Lindsay will be a mid

Doesn't really affect us tbh and helps out our pick 59 if it survives past potential Collingwood bid on Cochran

Im even more confused now but if they are using more picks before 44 to match then that should help us for that selection

"Best available" at our first pick from Keane doesn't fill me with hope.

As long as it's not a pure small forward, half back, intercepting KPD or winger that we deem best available.
Was going to say this. Guaranteed we reach for a skinny flanker because our opinion of best available is the complete opposite of every other team. Looking forward to welcoming the next Dean Towers.

Hopefully there are loads and loads of academy and F/S bids so our picks get pushed into the 30s LOL.

As much as our record of picks in the top 10 and teens gets shat on, our record in the 20s is just as bad. Rowbottom aside I can't remember a single great live pick we've had in the 20s.

Pick 30 and above = our first round.

Hayward #21 in 2016
Cleary #24 in 2023
LRT #29 in 2001

Not sure they will be allowed to skip that many drafts
Just need two first round selections over a 4 year period. Would also get an exception for Chad Warner unless he fell off a cliff so effectively 1 FRP in a 4 year span.

Personally think the rule is stupid and should be a hardline 2 FRPs in a 4 year span no exceptions
