All excite me, in order; Allan, Reid, Travaglia, Hotton, Berry and Lindsay. All could/will (if selected) play a role in 2025 for Port Adelaide and that is without moving into 10.Consensus has these guys rated from 11 to 17, kako was at 12. Looks like our first comes from one of these.
Murphy Reid 181 Mid/Fwd Tobie Travaglia 187 Def/Mid Xavier Lindsay 183 Mid Bo Allan (WAFL) 191 Def/Mid Joe Berry 181 Fwd Taj Hotton 182 Mid/Fwd
Wonder if he comes over with a view to Evans him? Get him in a semi-professional environment with some dedicated high performance strength and conditioning coaches. Get him ripping fit and see if his game holds up 7kgs lighter, see if he gains a yard of speed.I’d really like Francou, recon he adds grunt.

For starters I don't think we should draft but if we do, there's no way he plays defence or wing. It's midfield. We already have enough turnovers in the back half and his best work is in the contest. Not allowing him to use that strength would show him up, as it would for anyone.Bo Allan seems like the one to me, absolutely no intel whatsoever but my gut feel is that is who we are sniffing around to move up the order to get. Probably slots into a our best 23 straight away either in defence or a wing.
If we don't get him, i think we will still get a good player at 13. I like the sound of Reid, Berry, Travalgia, Hotton, etc.
I like him as is, think the addiction to speed is a bit much. If he comes in he could try become a player in the mould of Wines. His kicking is weird, but I would say he still hits his short targets. I'm surprised we never trialled him at SANFL. Must really dislike the Francous for some reason haha.Wonder if he comes over with a view to Evans him? Unless you are an absolute gun you first learn you craft at half back and then morph into the mid-field.For starters I don't think we should draft but if we do, there's no way he plays defence or wing. Sure, but him at Half-Back doesnt suit us. If you're telling me that we replace Houston with Allan that would be awful for us. That's a stark difference in disposal efficiency that would affect our ball movement a fair bit. This is why I'm against picking him, I think he's a strong contest player and could be the next Wines but whether I want to spend pick 13 on the next Wines right now is something I'm unsure of.Unless you are an absolute gun you first learn you craft at half back and then morph into the mid-field.
I would agree, I don't see any traits screaming AFL talent but also happy for him to do an Evans (glad how that's become a term now). For me Barrett over Francou over Burgoyne is my order if I'm really honest. Probably because Burgoyne has had a few injuries but also I see a clear role for Francou at AFL level whereas with Burgoyne I'm more tentativeI dont like Mongomery sadly as a player.
Burgoyne
Barett
Francou
these are the players id take
Only one I’d be unhappy with is Berry.Consensus has these guys rated from 11 to 17, kako was at 12. Looks like our first comes from one of these.

So you went to the West Adelaide u18s, WWT u18s and Panthers reserves every week to see those guys play?I dont like Mongomery sadly as a player.

Watching the occational game or two, and speaking to some of my mates who play for westies, WWt, and southSo you went to the West Adelaide u18s, WWT u18s and Panthers reserves every week to see those guys play?
thats dedication. Good work.
This guy is elite, love his content. He's done a mock draft for the top 13, with another video for the later first round where our pick is, in the coming days.
A few interesting selections, particularly GWS traing up and taking Lindsay in the top 10, also hotton and Bo allen in the top 12, Indicating Smillie and Reid could be a chance to slide to us.
