My god he can kick, must be from some ancient tribe.
I almost think he just directly replaces Houston if he gets to us. Just for the first year. Would be similar to how Daicos and Sheezel started. Very similar in the way they play other than the fact that Houston was good overhead. But Reid's ball use and kicking is nothing short of exceptional

There maybe some disagreements on this haha

Reid is similar to Sheezel with his skills and smarts, but 5cm shorter and doesnt glide around as easily. I can see why hes a slider but he'd be worth taking at our current first.

I think the most likely move is trading up for Travaglia or down for 2 picks in the 20s.

Houston, Boak and potentially Bergman out means plenty of roles that Travaglia could fill.

Rome & Louie could be selected in Ports SANFL team under the new rules like Oliver Francou?
We could develop all 3 and keep an eye on them to see if any worthy to be selected in the 2025 draft.
As that draft is heavily compromised and with less depth

I am not really sure if I'd try trading up for Travaglia tbh. If he was a target and doesnt get to our pick 13, I'd rather just take Angus Clarke with 29 if we really think that is a need. Because trading up in any circumstances would mean we also part ways with 29 or 36 at least

Yes but I think the club are hesitant to announce this like Francou atm because there's interest in Rome and Louie and they aren't, at this stage, committing to the SANFL. Could all change after the draft. Whereas Francou is near certainty to not be drafted so he was willing to commit.

Its also an interesting point you make about next year's draft having less depth which is the general consensus. If that turns out to be the case, you'd expect draftees that miss out this year to have a better shot next year right?

A ruthless competitive edge and a will to win have formed the foundation of both Jack and Matt Whitlock’s footy journeys, which will next week take a significant step forward when they’re drafted by AFL clubs.

Jack – an athletic 200cm forward-ruck who’s 2cm taller and two minutes older than Matt – is expected to be drafted first. Richmond, according to scouts, is widely expected to consider him first at Picks 10 and 11, with West Coast, Port Adelaide and Fremantle also in the mix.

But Matt – a gun swingman who starred as both a key defender and key forward at various levels this year – isn’t expected to be on the board for much longer, with a club holding a mid to late first-round selection expected to pounce on him. Sydney has been linked to him by rival clubs.

Does Boyd Woodcock hold the record for most times nominated
