My bad.
Why bring that change in now and not the others? Why not do them all at once either now or next year? It's laughable.

My bad.
It's all a part of the equalisation and secret sauce that makes the game so equal and levelWhy bring that change in now and not the others? Why not do them all at once either now or next year? It's laughable.
Sam Marshall could be next levelPersonally I don't see us using our first pick this year as I think we will use it in the Barass trade. Ideally we would use a future first round pick instead but I'd still expect the Hawks to trade our first pick back for multiple picks in the 20-30 range, as I really like a few players in this range. Sydney have Picks 18 & 19 which would be perfect.
Job Shanahan
Kayle Gerreyn
Harry Armstrong
Matt Whitlock
Sam Marshall
Alix Taura
Happy for the club to bring in experienced players I'd love form them to get two picks in the top 30 some how.
Once again, my very vibes based attitude towards the draft really draws me to these names:Not sure if we have any picks to pick any of them and can't find a draft thread to post this under. For those interested
Quite a few good talents btw 20-35

Nah. Let him slide so we can get him cheap.Needs more Cody Anderson.
Another example of Hawthorn exploiting FA!!!Nah. Let him slide so we can get him cheap.
Not the year for WA midfielders.Someone made the combined ranking and posted on main draft board, forget who.

I reckon we still find a way to get Finn O'Sullivan, Jagga Smith or Sid Draper.
With the delusions of my brain after 10pm on a Tuesday night. But how? With what picks?
Disappointing that we missed out on Tauru in our NGA given Cal now has him in the top 10.
Love to know why we missed out on him, given his Swedish background and English isn't the native language which is the rule.
Could've traded for Barrass and drafted his replacement in the same year.
You'd think that the club is definitely in a good space if this is the break down of page threadsInteresting how little the draft is discussed this year, especially with our first pick probably on the move. Our second pick is 30, which is probably high enough to grab a decent player or try to move up from.
Moraes might not be able to be selected as a NGA pick, but given he’s now slid to 28 in Twomey’s top 30 there’s a good chance we can just select him.
If he makes it, he’d be my pick. Goal kicking wingman with a huge tank.
Or we try to sneak up the board somehow and grab a key forward, Shanahan or a Whitlock.

It's such a pity that both Tauru + Moraes don't fully qualify for the 2nd stage of our NGA. With the new NGA rules coming in you could only imagine how up in arms the rest of the clubs would beDefinitely, but we will still be drafting 2/3 players. There’s some very knowledgeable posters regarding the draft, I’d love to hear more about players we might be interested in.
Personally, I’ve watched about 5 under 18 games this year so I’ve got no idea about the draft outside of who I’ve seen.
Shanahan is who I’d pick if we could move up 10ish picks, but that seems unlikely.
