That, apart from the recruiting of Rioli, has been Port's area of least emphasis in recruitment. We have thought some strugglers from successful teams and a converted small defender or two and a bit of late speculative drafting of smalls will get us by. Well that's clearly not where the game is going. Our drafting needs to address this short coming this year. I'm a little concerned that Richards from Collingwood, if we get him, will be as successful as Frankie Evans and Narkle (which is not very much).
