I feel like the club has edited the wording around Colina on the list update post from last month?

"Richmond has also advised Category B Rookie Mate Colina of the intention to re-list him following next month’s Telstra AFL Draft and Rookie Draft."

I'm sure that Colina was originally named as a delisting, with a commitment to taking him in the rookie draft. Maybe we got a late exception to keep him on as Cat B? If so, I'm very happy with that. Means we can take 7 picks in the draft, rather than just 6.

Grockadoc posting his phantom motivated me to throw together a quick 15 min phantom just to have one done before twomey steals my order

i have no idea about any oppo list needs, sue me

first 4 tigers picks are basically what "rumours" have been posted + twomey not explicitly stating that they'll be our picks but leaning towards each of them

last 4 tigers picks are just more my preference, brain off selections

also didn't put much thought into the bids, just know that we wouldn't waste pick 1 on a bid cos of the marketing around the pick 1 of our rebuild

the main player i hate to miss out on cos he's in between our picks is hotton

can just tell on draft day we'll pick joe berry and jobe shanahan at 10&11 and i'll spew (not that i hate them but)

if there's any errors, unlucky, spent more time doing the colours than thinking about the picks
I appreciate the comedic element of not being able to read gold coast due to red on red

We were always going to relist him as a Cat B.

We've got room for 8 new players.

No we don't. We have 7 Cat A rookie list players. The max you can have is 6. We need to move 1 to the senior list, and we've already nominated that player to be Tylar Young.

We had 9 main list spots before that promotion though

Richmond rumoured to knocked back 6+11 to North for 2 +F1
We would see pick 11 > F1. Pick 18 would be more around the mark.
I know I mentioned a little while back but if we want pick 2 and the Saints want more access to this draft then trading 6 and something for 2 should work ok if we can get who we want with the Saints’ 7 or 8.

Well I'm a dumbass then.

I feel like I’ve been through the washing machine if that’s the case. Perhaps the whole plan has been JS all along and trying to get a handle on who slips through to pair him with a 6.?

If Jagga is 1, who falls to 6?
I think and I'm sure clubs already know what's happening and who is going to end up where so the rest are just throwing rumors and innuendos. I don't buy the corrupt league rules of can't do this and can't do that BS.

They don’t know. But they would have done their homework of several scenarios occurring and how they would respond with each.

Grimes, Martin, Naismith, Pickett, Bolton, Rioli, Graham, Baker, Cumberland - don’t we have 9 Primary List Spots available? Young makes it 8?

Replaced with the most like for like (sorry Harvey) draftees:

1- Lalor (Martin)
6- Langford (Graham)
10- Travaglia (Rioli)
11- Berry (Bolton)
18- Trainor (Grimes)
20- Hannaford (Baker)
23- Dodson (Naismith)
24- Oliver (Pickett)
Rookie pick a dud for cumbo

That makes no sense to me. Surely they want another pick this year not a future pick from Adelaide who are a likely improver in ‘25.

As an outsider looking in, it looks like north want too much in return to slide down and no club is interested given how even and deep this draft is. Easier sell to their members to reach for Tauru at 4 and use the acquired future 2nd and another future 2nd to come back in mid 20s and potentially get a Sims/Gerryn/Faull who might have slid

Final version of my mock draft (subject to slight changes ;)); first 2 rounds

We can only take 6 picks in the draft. We're using 1 to upgrade Young to the senior list, and 1 to redraft Colina as a rookie (I don't want us to, but it seems like we don't have another Cat B exception)

All trades are based on draft positions at the time of the trade

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st round:

1. Sam Lalor - Richmond

Adelaide trade 3 x F3 (Ade, Mel, GWS) to Sydney for 1 x F2 (Syd) + 1 x F3 (Syd)
North trade 2 to Adelaide for 4 + F2 (Syd)

2. Jagga Smith - Adelaide
3. Levi Ashcroft - Brisbane
4. Finn O'Sullivan - Carlton
5. Alix Tauru - North Melbourne
6. Harvey Langford - Melbourne
7. Josh Smillie - Richmond
8. Leo Lombard - Gold Coast
9. Sid Draper - St.Kilda
10. Harry Armstrong - St.Kilda
11. Isaac Kako - Essendon
12. Murphy Reid - Melbourne
13. Jack Whitlock - Richmond

West Coast trade 15 + F2 (Haw) to Richmond for 14

14. Bo Allan - West Coast
15. Xavier Lindsay - Richmond

Port Adelaide trade 16 + 30 to GWS for 19 + 24

16. Taj Hotton - GWS
17. Joe Berry - Fremantle
18. Sam Marshall - Brisbane
19. Tobie Travaglia - GWS
20. Jobe Shanahan - Port Adelaide
21. Harry Oliver - Bulldogs
22. Matt Whitlock - Richmond
23. Jesse Dattoli - Sydney

Essendon trade 40 + F1 (Ess) to Richmond for pick 24 + F5

24. Jonty Faull - Essendon
25. Cooper Hynes - Port Adelaide
26. James Barrat - Sydney

St Kilda trade F1 + F3 to Richmond for pick 27 + F4

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2nd round:

North Melbourne trade F1 + F3 to Richmond for pick 28 + F2 (Haw)

28. Luke Trainor - North Melbourne
29. Ollie Hannaford - Bulldogs
30. Kayle Gerreyn - West Coast

32. Hamish Davis - Fremantle
33. Angus Clarke - St.Kilda
34. Tom Sims - Hawthorn
35. Jack Ough - Bulldogs
36. Christian Moraes - Port Adelaide
37. Archer Day-Wicks - GWS
38. Noah Mraz - Carlton
39. Ben Camporeale - Carlton
40. Lachie Jacques/Sam Davidson/Jasper Alger - Richmond

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tigers finish with:
  • Lalor, Smillie, Lindsay, J.Whitlock, M.Whitlock, Jacques/Davidson/Alger
    • = 3 flexible midfielders, 1 key fwd/ruck, 1 key back/fwd, 1 running defender/winger/med fwd
  • 4 x F1s (Rich, North, Ess, St.K), 1 x F2 (Rich), 2 x F3 (North, St.K)
    • = Sharp, Cadman (for 2 x F1), F1, F2, F3, Kellaway
West Coast wont trade with Richmond to move up 1 spot after giving us #14 for Baker as there is good will there and we will let them just have it if thats the case.

The trade that might happen is Fremantle trade upto #11 with #14 to get Berry

Trades i think will be on the cards

* Norf will trade pick #2 to Crows for #4 plus junk either a f2 if crows get 1 or the 3 x 3rd rounders as it makes sense to get something than nothing as they are desperate to get Tauru

* If no bid for kako by pick #10 the bombers will come begging to take Shannahan , 2 x F1's for #11
would be my asking price

* Fremantle could be knocking on Richmond's door for #11 for #14 + #30 for Berry

* Port Adelaide might get desperate for Travaglia and come calling with #13 and #29/#36 for #11
