Anyone have a feeling that this draft could go the way of the last "Super Draft" of 2014? Could it be that the number of highly ranked players only exists because the total pool is just flat? Like the top 10 are a lot closer to 20 - 30 rather than other years where the top 10 are clear heads and shoulders above 11 - 20.

The only thing that worries me about Smilie is his Contested Mark. He took 1 for an entire year against other 18 year olds.

Where has this 1 contested mark thing come from? A great example of how misinformation spreads.

He’s not a great mark and not going to take a pack mark like FOS/Lalor/Langford but has taken enough contested 1v1 marks, especially in a mismatch.

Huge. It’s like basketball “small ball” it’s not really about being small it’s about being skilled. Now nba teams are just getting bigger skilled players.

Allen is more defensive
Smilie racks em up
Lalor is our main attack weapon.

Add in a Lindsay or Reid at 11 and it’s awesome. Plus Allen and Lalor love to tackle and hurt people.
