Amazing he had the time in between clogging the board with 800 new players threads.

I’m glad someone else brought it up. I don’t use this term lightly but that was an atrocity. This is what is wrong with the UN all bark no bite.

We want Joe Berry @11, won’t last until 18.
Getting in before Freo and Port.

Allen at 10
Berry at 11

I’d prefer Berry to reaching for Whitlock but I’d prefer Lindsay, Travaglia, Reid or any other top mid that slides. One or more of those are guaranteed to be available at 11, unless both Tauru and Armstrong aren’t selected, in which case we’d obviously take Tauru (hopefully).

With the sad passing of Toce, should we promote this guy to head recruiter? otherwise other Clubs may offer the top gig & we'd lose him.

Hopefully club go through a process to select a new Recruiting manager in due course. But for now, just focus on the draft.

He would be in the frame id imagine if he wants it.

No way we’re taking Berry with that pick why would we?
We rate him as the best small after we bid on Kako at 11. Both port and Freo won’t Berry slip to 18.

This will allow a pick of a selection of KPF at pick 18 rather then at 10 or 11.

West coast 12
Port 13
Freo 14
GWS 15, 16
Bulldogs 17

None of these teams will take a KF bar possibly Port. So that will mean we get Berry and also get a pick out of Armstrong, Shannahan, Whitlock, Faull.

We have enough smalls can pick up a couple more in the preseason and rookie drafts if we need them

Backline looks ok stack the midfield and snag a KPF that’s how I’m contemplating it

We don’t have a fwd that does what Berry does.
Seth Campbell and Juddy Clarke aren’t even close to this kids talent level.

Agree on talent wise but let’s not over pay for a role that nets 10 possessions max and maybe a couple tackles and maybe a goal a game on average

Hasn’t this thread had it all.

Posters angry at the club for who they’re picking before they’ve been picked, pornstars, Israel v Palestine, charges of racism, RATD multi quotes, tigs2010 being involved in everything, the Weird on-again, off-again love story between tiger_tough and Morro and countless Leo, Dwight and Daffy gifs.

It’s been a blast. Cant wait for 2025’s version.

Psych. I'm definitely gonna watch.

So many pundits have us taking Lalor , Smillie,
then Allan
All three have risk and similar size.
Surely we need some balance amongst the mids and should go with some guaranteed skill and great decision making such as Lindsay or Reid instead of Allan at that point.
every player has risk

and I reckon those 3 strike a neat balance. lalor more an attacking mid (still loves to tackle), allan defensive mid (has pace & strength to burn), smillie different than both of them (also strong af & great midfield craft)

size shouldn't be a problem since lalor and Allan both have speed as their strength, and while smillie isn't as fast as them he still has a better 20m time than cripps & bont

things they do have in common is they're big blokes who love to tackle, and tackle hard
