feel like for smalls going berry at 11 is too much when dattoli & hannaford are likely available at 18 where our first choice kpf probably wouldn't be. also alger is apparently being linked to us who is more of a small that doesn't rack it up like the previous 3 mentioned. also if hotton can regrow his knee and last til our later picks is another good small

and the way our list is currently, a tall is more vital than a small

Talent league averages in draft year, Smillie was also much better in national champs.

Smillie 24 disposals / 1+ goals
RCD 18 disposals / 0.5 goals

If RCD was a 25%+ better player he is probably still on our list. RCD was a project player, Smillie is already good. The only question is how good he will become in the AFL.

Going to be very interesting to see what they do on the day - you must think they have some deals pretty far down the track to pull if certain players are not available by certain picks. Can't surely be planning to use all 8 top 25 picks & not be planning to spread them over a few drafts? That would be a very risky strategy
