Most of the dramatic posts I saw were losing it at anyone who slightly questioned the suitability of the pick but I'll take your word for it.

If you had a choice, which F1 do you take:

Melb
Collingwood
GC
Essendon
Port Adelaide
Geelong

All could arguably get tabled in a pick swap scenario as GC want back in and Geelong and Essendon will be eying the talls available early on tonight.

Essendon. Melbourne and Collingwood will probably be in the bottom half of the ladder but Essendon is a team the frequently overestimates their list and would be willing to part with a future 1st for the chance of winning the draft.

I would take whoever we are targeting at 29 then if Essendon’s target is still there at 31 do
31 and F2 for 39 and one of Dopes F1’s (preferably the one tied to the Dopes)

If we're looking for another midfielder, Tom Gross would be a good pickup. He's tough and works hard. Reminds me a bit of Sanders but quicker. Moraes is still there and fills a wing need. Jasper Alger is probably the best of the small forwards remaining in the draft and we might target him.

I'm coming around to the Moraes pick, I get the potential asterisk of being too outside but if he can overcome that he has the makings of a very good player who can contribute soon and address a weakness in the team.

Cons: another small, slight, blond guy named Clarke being taken early second round.

Moraes or Boxshall, who would you all rather as the "wing" pick?

Moraes, as he has a huge running power, and plays a position of need as a outside midfielder/winger.
Being a local Vic lad, hopefully prevents the go home to state/Cotton On Geelong factor.
