Freo, Port, St Kilda and Hawthorn. Clearly we want to get Infront of these 4 for a reason. Who are they linked to that we have been?

They all seem to be linked to the big bodied midfielders that I mentioned we would be hard pressed to pass up.

To be fair, picks 20-40 in that draft have delivered extremely little.

He could play as a half back as well, I think he ends up as a mid though. Whilst he's not tall, he's quite nuggetty and I think he does his best work in tight. Rate his ball use and decision making under pressure.

Sounds like a younger Caleb do we draft another smallish player 178cm?
We also traded away Jack who was slow.
I think Sammy is after some midfilders who have speed and toughness.

That trade was only made possible by holding out for more in the Smith trade to upgrade our pick to 35.

17 & 27 for Smith, 48 & 49 is easier to digest.

Can you explain this to me? Do you mean because we forced Geelong to give up 38 in the deal, so didn't need to use 35 for Kennedy?

We have been linked with him, and potentially Oliver/Hannaford with pick 25 if either side.

His draft profile states he’s not the tallest or quickest midfielder in the draft class, we just traded Jacko and Caleb as they weren't quick or tall.
We do need to add speed and toughness in the guts.

Has performed against men (WAFL finals game - 4 goals against the eventual premiers) and has a really quick 2km time, which contrasts with Hynes' not having much of a tank to the eyeball.
Covering ground is vital in the modern game and if you can't do it well, you're going to struggle.

Mollier is someone who I certainly would be happy with, guys his height aren't supposed to move that fast and he actually knows what he's doing in the ruck and as a forward.

We should swaps picks with them. If you want a guaranteed star from the AFL draft, pick just after the Saints (our captain & VC both examples)
