They all seem to be linked to the big bodied midfielders that I mentioned we would be hard pressed to pass up.Freo, Port, St Kilda and Hawthorn. Clearly we want to get Infront of these 4 for a reason. Who are they linked to that we have been?
To be fair, picks 20-40 in that draft have delivered extremely little. We took Clarke at 24 and delisted him after two years. Wouldn't be too excited
Sounds like a younger Caleb do we draft another smallish player 178cm?He could play as a half back as well, I think he ends up as a mid though. Whilst he's not tall, he's quite nuggetty and I think he does his best work in tight. Rate his ball use and decision making under pressure.
So we get pick 27 anyways which Saints didn't want to give dogs.Nice work Sammy
3 picks in the top 30 of a potentially great draft
Can you explain this to me? Do you mean because we forced Geelong to give up 38 in the deal, so didn't need to use 35 for Kennedy? That trade was only made possible by holding out for more in the Smith trade to upgrade our pick to 35.
17 & 27 for Smith, 48 & 49 is easier to digest.
We have been linked with him, and potentially Oliver/Hannaford with pick 25 if either side.So do we think we can get Molier with the owl pick late in the draft?
Has performed against men (WAFL finals game - 4 goals against the eventual premiers) and has a really quick 2km time, which contrasts with Hynes' not having much of a tank to the eyeball.Just wondering why?
His draft profile states he’s not the tallest or quickest midfielder in the draft class, we just traded Jacko and Caleb as they weren't quick or tall.
We do need to add speed and toughness in the guts.
So do we think we can get Molier with the owl pick late in the draft?
Covering ground is vital in the modern game and if you can't do it well, you're going to struggle.
Trade the F1 for 18 and go with 17 18 25 27 I hope.
They won't trade them to us.Aim for GWS’s 15 or 16.
It's a crap role and you will cop it from supporters if you do it, but it's necessary. It's why Vandermeer and McNeil are in the team, they both run hard and cover a lot of ground.
We should swaps picks with them. If you want a guaranteed star from the AFL draft, pick just after the Saints (our captain & VC both examples)Saints have copied dogs and went 28 for 32 & 47 lol
Will Phillips over Logan McDonald continues to be an all time chin scratcher.North: just one more mid bro this one will fix us I swear
