Bit harsh. Missed most of the year through injury, played reasonably well the last couple of games.

I'd still cut Francis, find another mature ager and hope Snell, Edwards keep progressing, draft Cochran.

Or just bank on Snell, Edwards being ready in a year, with Hamling the main backup for 2025. Draft Cochran, and another 18 year old for the future.

With delisting you HAVE to be harsh otherwise you end with half a squad of VFL players. No problem keeping him for our VFL side. We probably cut Francis anyway.

When he played was mediocre at best. Sorry not keeping blokes who get injured and are mediocre when they do play.

I don't know if Arnold has had a decent enough run at it to show his potential, but if we've decided he hasn't got any and we're planning something else, then ok.

I’m fine with gambling on one of them coming good think I’d lean towards keeping Arnold at least next year

If we can nail a gun key defender I would love for us to let Melican off the chain as Lions do with Starcevitch - marauding across defence and intercepting. I think he'd be brilliant at that rather than a sole 1 v 1, and it's allow us to move Blakey up to the wing. Unfortunately we can't afford it with only Mccartin who is a 2nd string key defender.

I think both Snell and Edwards are rated internally, we extended them to 27 and 26 respectively, just takes time. If we think they'll be ready in a year, maybe Edwards a bit sooner than Snell, then maybe you just run with Hamling and Fox as the Rampe backups next year.

Of course the problem is that we'll have our 3 current KPDs all with durability concerns, so there's a real chance 2 could be down at once.
