All that is great but no way I’d be handing over a huge amount for him, and that’s the issue. One late first I’d be somewhat interested but nothing more and only if the medical ticks off.
Not even the pick we'd have to give.

$1m a year for 6 years isn't worth a punt on a guy with durability AND off field concerns.

Big if here but IF we get 3&13 from WCE I’d be okay heading over our current first (17 for him which would go out to 20 or so). But wouldn’t go any more

No player is worth that money if they can't perform to their max on GF day.
We are a weak club if we pay more. Other top well run clubs wouldn't. Cats wouldn't.

Was our best in 2022, ordinary on Saturday but he’s performed in one of them at least

Would be reported by others by now if it was official, given that was last night.

But likely anyway.

Apparently multi year, decent money, so if they want him that bad they can give us pick 40, or at worst future 3rd (likely early/mid 40s).

2 or 3 good academy kids next year, or if 40 use it with 58 to move up a bit into the 30s, someone will want the points.

Yep i just read he is going with on the couch so take it with a grain of salt

Who cares about the pick.

It's the $1m per year for 6 years, for potentially a broken player.

No way.

No problems with Parks going. All the best to him. His best is well and truly behind him.

Best for both and just get it done for him if he wants it, just wish it was 300 here

Can someone tell me why a group we are demanding be harder in the contest and mentally stronger would want Clayton Oliver on a long term deal?

At his best he is close to the best contested ball winner in history.

food for thought . Jesse hogan wasn’t in such a dissimilar position as clarry just a couple of years ago
