The one with GC and Collingwood

And yes looks like trade period has been a complete waste of time

Always thought it was horrid unders for Houston.

I’m still getting over John Noble being worth pick 13! The bloke is just Caleb Daniel and he was worth what pick 30 ish (rejected but that’s the value).

No wonder the Dogs want more for Bailey Smith if this borderline best 22 player is worth pick 13!

More like their fan base pulled the deal. In what world is Houston equal to a first and 2 picks in the 30s

Also allows them to open up the easiest 400k to pay Butters soon

Fan base would have pitchforked Alberton if that rubbish deal went through

haha , evry year the same , why worry , just wait

Don’t worry 2 more glorious days for Jay Clark to run his mouth about everyone bending over for the Cats

This trade period has been boring because:
1) most of the good players have been locked away so there aren't many "in play" to generate interest.
2) it's a strong draft so most clubs are more interested in draft points than borderline players.
3) there's so little to talk about the journos repeat themselves over and over and over again AND SO DO WE.

I think the Dogs will buckle and take the 17. Makes no sense to let him go for nothing. Particularly when Geelong would probably end up getting him anyway.

The best they could hope for is 17 and 38 for Smith and 48.

Bulldogs get 2 picks in the first 40 and one of those a first rounder, Geelong get their guy and have 2 late picks that will jump in after bids

If the 3-club trade happens, Port will end up having 13, 29, 39, 50, 58

So a pick swap with them could be something like:

IN: 13, 39
OUT: 19, 22

At a guess?

I'd be leaving that for draft night. There's only 1 or 2 players I'd do that for. Those picks are late first but very valuable

It's more likely Port come for 22, with their 29 and 39
