I'm aware of all this but originally I was questioning the assertion that there have been 'serious doubts' surrounding cerra's ability to play? I've seen people doubt it here but questioning selection based upon that?, not sure it's how it works.

Like I said, that's as far as I'm wanting to delve into it, team is in and we move on to the game. I think that we have probably picked close to the best side possible to play in a final considering who is available to play.

I still have my doubts about the Cerra selection but I've moved on.

Nowadays, players train harder than gameday, apart from match day contact

So unless one of our players is carrying rib injuries or similar, no one here would know the level of fitness of returning players

Cmon Arrow, match fitness is very different to being fit, nor can training replicate having an opposition player up your date trying to smash you at every turn.
Training loads don’t replicate VFL let alone AFL level of football

I'm looking forward to the game too. The midfield match ups will be interesting. Suspect Hewett vs Neale, Cripps vs Dunkley and a lot of chaos around it all. Expecting a good game out of Walshy.

That wasn't a commentary on people and whether they count but in terms of what the club does when selecting the team, our opinions certainly dont count.

Kemp spent majority of training with defenders, Young trained with the forwards and took plenty of shots.

TDK kicked around a soccer ball, didn’t touch a footy. Cincotta all smiles chatting with fans. I smell a few changes

I don't think we lose too much with the ins v outs. Pressure is as much about the mindset of the team on the night too so hopefully they're up for it.

Wasn't in a final just checked but yep it did happen against the Tigers. Lions gave up a 42 point lead and lost. Fort came on for an injured Bailey...

Also Cerra spending a fair bit of time doing stoppage work with the mids, so I'd assume he'll be in there as opposed to HBF as has been mentioned. For me, Cincotta didn't look too upbeat (different interpretation to the post above) and more like someone who isn't playing, but who knows.

To be fair, I think we have had mixed results with returning players this year

Some have hit the ground running with good output, others have struggled and or reinjured themselves

Certainly has been mixed results, no doubt about that…
There’s been a number of results off the back of some really poor selection decisions which at times were incredibly obvious to even us outside of the club, just an observation
