Haha ...I was waiting for someone to mention it, glad it was you.
Last year's run was underrated in what was a stronger edition of the race and looks like it's travelling better.
One thing I've noticed with him he needs acres of space to get fully wound up, probs one of them nags that's a bit timid but the staying ability is definitely there.

Nah would be next to no chance. The Champions Stakes is sitting there post Cox Plate and Waller already has one of his class WFA horses having a crack

She firmed because people backed her after she dumped the jockey at the Valley and the connections were saying she wouldnt go to the Cox Plate

Is that next to no chance to run or win if she runs. I doubt she runs in it but if she did I think she is a chance met Buckaroo twice recently and beaten him both times. She has one failure at 2,400 on a rain effect track. Has had nearly the same prep as Very Elleegant except the second up 1,600 metre races were in different races the year VE won it.

Had a good hit out Tuesday for longer race LOL. I agree unlikely to run but if she did would be a great chance if she run the trip.

I would give her less than 2% chance of lining up in the race. Wouldn't make much sense as a gun 2000m horse with the Champion Stakes sitting there if needed post Cox Plate. Plus Waller already has Buckaroo going to the Cup so no need to test both his star middle distance horses. She also doesn't even look like a 2 miler so would be very strange.

Verry Elleegant was already an Oaks, Tancred and CC winner over 2400m before she even contested and lost her first MC

Thought George was the clerk of the course for most of it. Looking like a 4000m horse, not one suited to Aus racing.
His closing sectionals will be more than acceptable, 3200m might well be his go. Has the turn of foot too which is most crucial.

Foreman also said the run of Saint George was encouraging and they are hoping natural attrition sees him get a start in the cup 🤔

Was told this morning they’d already ruled it out of MC regardless of what happened tonight, so 🤷‍♂️. Either way I sold back all I had him going for on the fair for a bit of a loss.
