You have to wonder if we’d gone the Geelong route of keeping all the older players rather than booting them out to rebuild if we could’ve pinched a flag. Roo, Lenny, Dal etc had plenty of good footy left in them. At least now we know if you’ve got a core like that you hold onto it for dear life.

We got Stocker and Dow in return for next to nothing, it would be nice if we could get Cripps as well, he is too good for Carlton.
