You mean the stash we setting aside for Harley? We can.
We do not have the Draft capital to do the trade. Next year, I believe we would be much more competitive to do the trade.
This is one of the better post I've read on this forum. The number of fans stuck on the idea we need to remain loyal to every player on our list whilst we still have holes to fill is beyond belief. This is the draft for us to fill our KPF needs and the only better solution than that would be to trade for already established power forwards. Shanahan and Gerreyn for mine...
This is also the reason why I'm to overpaying for TB, he fills a need but also a few injuries away from reiring- so it's a massive risk to overpay and have no draft capital to draft young kids that fill a need.So seriously on Ward where does he fit? Day Newk Worpel are first 3, Nash Mackenzie McDonald would seem next 3 with Moore Weddle Watson the chop outs. Wings seem to be CJ and D’Ambrosio with Weddle and Amon the covers.
We have to be realistic and also focus on how to improve the list balance. What are our gaps? KPF seems like #1 3rd forward seems like #2 think we are set for small forwards and defenders. If players like Ward Maginness Serong allow us to acquire those positions you have to consider it at a minimum. This draft has several promising forwards that go between 10-40 getting 2 with second rounders seems to make sense.
Players like Shanahan Sims Faull Gerryn would fit the bill nicely.
We're looking for players that can have an impact straight away the kids can waitThis is also the reason why I'm to overpaying for TB, he fills a need but also a few injuries away from reiring- so it's a massive risk to overpay and have no draft capital to draft young kids that fill a need.
I said it Friday night and I'll say it again. That was the best game Josh Ward has played for the club and he looked great. It's got nothing to do with loyalty and everything to do with not wanting to see us hand over a developing midfielder who just last week demonstrated he can deliver while playing finals footy. Last week showed why midfield depth is utterly crucial if you want to contend.
Some of them have already started disowning himRichmond board going to go full melty all arvo.
Chol has been great all year.I said it Friday night and I'll say it again. That was the best game Josh Ward has played for the club and he looked great.
Meanwhile, Chol ducking at shadows and somehow gets injured without toughing the ball all game. We need KPF players, happy to be patient but it's the missing ingredient to another golden era
Can we have a spell from your Chol bashing, it’s getting very tired.I said it Friday night and I'll say it again. That was the best game Josh Ward has played for the club and he looked great.

Chol ducking at shadows? He would be in concussion protocols if we played at Marvel, would have hit the roof. Chol didn’t have a fantastic game but he contested and missed shots he would have normally kicked so he was unlucky to not have a couple on the board. He done a job and brought the ball to ground for the piranha’s to pounce.I said it Friday night and I'll say it again. That was the best game Josh Ward has played for the club and he looked great.

I disagree, he did not contest. You've described his role but he was not competing last week. Hopefully he competes well tonight and plays his role as he has done most of the season.Chol ducking at shadows? He would be in concussion protocols if we played at Marvel, would have hit the roof. Andrew would have been an incredible get.
I'm glad we had a red hot go.
It shows our intent to not just compete but to dominate.
"that's what I'm talking about"
"My Chol Bashing", first time I've mentioned his name actually....Can we have a spell from your Chol bashing, it’s getting very tired.
AgreeChol has been great all year.
Morris on SEN suggesting you’d need to offer $20mill for 12yrs to get Reid or Darcy.
The times are changing.
My apologies I got it mixed up with your Ward bashing."My Chol Bashing", first time I've mentioned his name actually....
My point being he is not the long term answer to our forward line needs.
I don't understand this line of thinking"My Chol Bashing", first time I've mentioned his name actually....

Not a mod but I believe it was to steer chat into the other finals thread.Hey mods.
Why General Info thread been locked?
This is not true at all. He got his hands to more ball that most players just didn't grasp it. To say he didn't compete suggests you need to sit down and watch the game.I disagree, he did not contest. You've described his role but he was not competing last week. Hopefully he competes well tonight and plays his role as he has done most of the season.
We need KPF players
Literally no need for the drive by on Chol. Yes, we need another KPF but having a go at our leading goal kicker for the year is strange.I said it Friday night and I'll say it again. That was the best game Josh Ward has played for the club and he looked great.

Yeah, if you want to slag someone off, keep it limited to DGB!Literally no need for the drive by on Chol. Yes, we need another KPF but having a go at our leading goal kicker for the year is strange.
