Agree, future 1st' would be a harder sell to the fanbase anyway and the Eagles would have the same outlook on draft year quality.

If we had barrass this year, then Sicily could've been afforded to have a few weeks to get his shoulder right with frosty, scrim and tom in the side. It makes Sam's hand so much more easier to pick the team according to fitness levels and injury concerns of our side! Let's not get sidetracked by our form this year, we still need solid depth going forward .

With maybe a couple going at the end of this season that leaves our depth on the light side. Which means getting battle on top of barrass further enhances our ' proper' depth. The club knows this and wouldn't surprise me if we went for a third senior addition to all this, especially if more than one looks to ply their trade elsewhere. Great planing from our club.

Goodwin can be sacked for gross misconduct and not receive a cent.

Hold him to his contract is my option..... But no use keeping him with a poor coach and bad culture. Get Buckley sack Goodwin keep all the hardworking people and ditch the unprofessional toxic people.

Doubt they would take our F1 given we will be improving the team more after this trade period so chances are our F1 will probably be higher than this year

I'm so keen for Barrass. Such a perfect fit for us where we're at, we've got all the mobility and all the versatility we need in the backline so having that lynch pin to sit at full back and camp under the high ball will be huge.

DGB only gets traded if he wants out, makes no sense to trade him when he has no trade value. Even though he seems a mile off AFL level atm he has shown traits for the level. He has no off field issues and is a good trainer, I'm willing to back him in to be solid contributor.

The fact that James Blanck is not recovering as well as hoped from his knee surgery makes this one even more important (IMHO).

Lukosius would be an interesting pick up, but hard to see us offering what the SA clubs might and doubt we will get a Scrimshaw type deal.

Am curious long term on Lewis, but trading now would be a loss.

DGB its hard to see the turn around but if the club think it's there then again not much point trading at a low point.

We did have a good year on the injury front, next year may not be so kind.
