I recall him having a couple of big, hard landings flying high for marks in the last month of the H&A. Wouldn't be surprised if he was carrying something. He just didn't seem to be moving with the same ease and fluidity as he was earlier in the year.
This. I'm gobsmacked that others didn't notice and to add to this he went for really a high grab against the Dogs in the elimination final landed very hard and came up limping. Even though he had concrete hands that game he pushed through and kept chasing defenders and gave Meek a chop out when he could. You could see his confidence was rattled late in the game which was when Sam went and put his arm around him.

The reality is we don't know how lame / limited he was after those hard landings but his effort was always there. Easier said than done but the one consistency we need from Chol moving forward is to have him bring the ball to ground more often than not if there's no mark to be had. The only thing we can't have him doing is to allow the opposition to take uncontested grabs and allow the ball to be exited easily.

I would love to see Sicily play alongside, Chol + Dear for a stretch until Lewis eventually returns. No one expected Chol to be our number one option but IMO he tried his guts out and gave his all which in turn along with others was a key cog in us shocking the AFL world for an unexpected top 8 finish, first finals appearance since 2016 and first finals win in 8 years. Anyone that thinks that could've been done without him is kidding themselves.

The plan was always to have him as the 2nd or 3rd banana with Lewis being the number 1 option who has unfortunately been unable to stay on the park which is something you cannot knock Chol about.

Jack Darling to North.

Haven't North got enough problems?

I think clarko took note of our success with having 2 player coaches on top of the dedicated coaching group, and how that positively impacted our development over the season.

Would you take a 2nd rounder for Frost?

I'd rather he didn't, but if he wants to leave then I would.

Honestly I don't really see how we would fit Barrass and Frost into the same side. I have always felt like Barrass would likely be replacing Frost.

Frost can take on smaller forwards, but he doesn't have the skill or composure that suits the small defender role.

I’d take Richmonds second rounder. Not the swans.

Wouldn’t even entertain letting him go. We need him fit as he’s so versatile and I see him being in our best 22 with Barrass and Battle.

Even with Battle and Barrass coming in our depth would be:

Frost, Blanck (complications with infection), Serong, McCabe, DGB (likely gone), Phillips (likely gone).

Don't think we should lose Frosty. A late second at best doesn't come close to the value he provides our team.

With two key defenders joining it will likely mean a decent defender will be squeezed out.

Ideally he stays, but Frost and Serong would be the two considering their options if teams start coming for them.

A second round pick for Frost would be his value.

I get what he's doing - I think he's doing it poorly. Gunston/Breust are deeply in our system and are part of the fabric of our last great era. Hodge was a generational leader so of course he could slot in at Brisbane where Fagan knew him. I don't see Darling and Parker bringing in the leadership Norf need.

Big no to trading Frost or Reeves

If we get Barrass and he goes down we have no other KPD apart from Serong as Blanck may not even play next year.

If Meek goes down we have no decent backup.

We are finally building depth so trading them out for prospects who aren’t AFL ready yet doesn’t make sense.

From a strictly value perspective you would probably do that deal. From a Hawks perspective I'd keep him. Firstly he would be excellent depth, Secondly there might be a spot for him if a couple of the others play further up the ground, ie. Sic, Weddle. I love what he did this year, as did many of us, if only the poor bugger could kick.
Just a gut feeling, I reckon he would want to stay. We had an awesome season and From memory I think he had a career best season.
