BORED! Changed hats several times hasn't helped.

Brain fart.... would we only take 1 pick this year, upgrade two rookies and take 2 rookies? Saves money, pick 71 and 77 would be around rookie picks. Money is still money, even if we have lots?
We will be looking at Mackenzie and Ward as two top 10 picks that have not even touched the surface for us next season.

If it ends up being two future firsts and they give us this years Second pick around 22 this year would that be the worst?

If Carlton and Hawks both finish top 6 next year it could be something like

Eagles receive pick 14 and pick 15 2025
Hawks receive pick 23 and Barrass 2024

This would get us back into a draft which they are saying from pick 15-25 this year is full of talent.

Would also mean we have two second round picks next season locked we could use to get back into the first round if we wanted.

If that's Houston's value under contract it doesn't bold well for West Coast

Pick 50 was added in by Suns. That was the new ;ick added to yday's pot that swayed Port.

Oh my lord.

Meanwhile Eagles fans are slowly realising that their inability to say NO to Baker and walk away is the cause of all their strife.

Yep, you can't really compare one contract or trade to another but Houston is younger, in better form and has an equally lengthy contract. Goes to show that we were absolutely dealing in good faith.

Gold Coast come out of that feeling pretty good. Luko off the books, a player actually wants them, and they shift 13 and 29 into 2 future firsts.

Collingwood come out feeling pretty good. Houston is a quality player, although I think they really needed to start rebuilding.

Port give up F1 and Houston and 13, Luko and role players. I'd be pointing this out to West Coast and smirking at their demand for two first rounders.

Still won't stop the clowns in the media saying we ruined trade week and rating us an F.

Pies will tread water for a little while longer it seems. They'd want to get some more ducks in a row because rebuilding during the Tassie entry years will be rough.

Collingwood went into the period without their first or second round picks after finishing bottom 10.

They come out with Houston and Perryman.

Pretty good if you think there's still juice to squeeze out of that list.

Sidebottom, Howe, Pendles, Crisp, WHE, Mihocheck, Mitchell. A third of the team could drop off any day.

They just had to giving up all draft capital for another year and give up over 2 million a year of their salary cap.
