ROUND 17 INJURY LIST
Michael Walters (hamstring) – test
Nathan O'Driscoll (knee) – test
Sebit Kuek (knee) – test
Max Knobel (calf) – test
Cooper Simpson (hip) – test
Tom Emmett (elbow) – test
Alex Pearce (arm) - 1-2 weeks
Ollie Murphy (abdomen) – 5-7 weeks
Oscar McDonald (knee) - 7-8 weeks
Josh Corbett (hip) - season

Pearce was 3-4 last week right? Knocked a week off that which is good.

Will the possibility of getting Pearce and Cox back mean we can release the shackles a little more as we will have more confidence in the defense to hold up?

I would say yes but it would also be dependent on who we are playing.

Wow, Pearce only 1-2 weeks must mean the surgery went well!

WAFL reserves will have a few players I am guessing. Keuk, O'Driscoll may both get a run there.

A few guys ahead of schedule, and knock off those tests and we're looking really healthy touch wood

Pearce and Cox back for Hawthorn, if not then definitely v Melbourne, with certainty v West Coast the week after
I would have thought we wouldn’t take cox to launceston to get hypothermia and risk that hamstring. Problem is that means 1 week on and then a week off, let’s give him two more weeks in sunny Perth before unleashing him. Thoughts?

I'd be happy for anyone with tight hammies to miss that one.

If he’s fit he plays. We need cohesion in the group.

When Pearce and Cox are back, I think Chappie will finally get the wing time we’ve been wanting.

Man, I am so stoked for Moose. We somehow get him back for Hawks and we've hopefully lost nothing and he's even had a few weeks off to freshen up the body.

Primed for a massive end to the yeat
YEEEEET

I cant complain one bit about that.

I feared a 3 or 4 week injury.

I just hope we can beat the tigers with minimal injuries. If we do that this week, we will be 10 wins, 5 losses and a draw.

I just want our 13 or 14 wins as soon as possible and seal that finals spot 1st.

Full credit to the current coaching staff for letting the medicos do their job.

The previous relationship was very toxic & they were under too much pressure to get players back on the field despite not being ready, often being overruled. I don't rate the previous set up, but it was a tough environment to work in.
