Darragh Joyce played a role in defence when we had no one else.
Even with a broken jaw, he contested and held his own.
Probably deserved a medal ‘cause we may not have won without him
Thanks, Darragh, you’re a bloody legend.
Happy to have men of such caliber as depth in our club.

There was talk from Twomey that other clubs were also after our pick 20, and while they didn’t have the picks/points that Richmond did, they could offer us future picks which we could then trade a for more picks in this draft.

Brown had Lynch and Bradshaw with him. I would be saying the exact same thing even if we had a second year Brown instead of Morris. Not ready to be the #1 guy.

I'd argue Browny didn't start as the number 1 guy either and your right he had time with senior players around him like Morris had Joe, but still has Hippy, Charlie, McArthy, Rayner and this year a bit more Big O there plus now Lowman building on the same trajectory. I'm always the glass half full person, all kids are great until they prove us wrong, Morris is going great and has a bit more mongrel in him which will grow with his size.
