Maybe #9, 10 & 27 for Bolton, Baker and #20 is what the club is pushing?

It's the problem with holding such a strong draft hand and admitting you want to use them on trades.

Without knowing all the machinations I’d imagine it isn’t straight up.

It would have to be a package deal with Bolton.

Man, I feel I'm pretty good at staying calm on most things footy but these trade things really shit me up a wall. It's just the bullshit hypocrisy of hearing pick 10 for Baker and Freo getting a shitload of capital into next year for Warner while they stand there saying Geelong can only give what they have and won't want to give up more for Smith.

And like others, I rate Twomey as well so it's extra painful

I'm finding a new sport if Baker costs pick 10.

There is no world where 15 is about right for a 24yo Smith and pick 10 is right for 27yo Baker.

As Snuff says, we shouldn't believe anything in the media until trade week begins. Walls record hasn't been great with trading in players so if we give pick 10 for Baker, he should be removed immediately. Trading and drafting is the key to success so we can't allow it to happen.

I rate Baker and think he would be a great addition BUT I agree, we should be backing ourselves to find someone at pick 10 that will turn out even better.
