Hill is a gun, and he has done it on the biggest stage.

Would be a great pick up, though I don’t think there is any truth to the rumours.

Personally think that GF was a fluke. If you ignore the hyperbole and commentators jizzing themselves, Hill actually doesn't do much more than Freddy. Remarkably similar stats actually over the last 3 years. And people complain Freddy doesn't do enough.

2022-2024 stats below

Bobby Hill ... 10.3 disposals, 3.2 marks, 1.24 goals, 2.2 tackles, 0.69 goal assists, 4.5 score involvements, 184 metres gained

Freddy ... 10.8 disposals, 3.6 marks, 1.26 goals, 1.85 tackles, 0.59 goal assists, 4.5 score involvements, 212 metres gained

You pulled some great stats, but he was outstanding that in the GF.

I just don’t think Freddy could be bog in a final, at least not based on what we have seen so far - but perhaps is more consistent.

When Bobby left GWS didn't he say he had no interest in returning to WA and wanted to be in Vic?
I think he'll stay at the pies but if he leaves it's as likely to be to a new suburb in Melbourne isn't it?
Close

He actually said he would have come to WA but WA clubs had no interest in him

Yeah but he'd be replacing Walters not Freddy..

What a time to be alive down at Bomberland.

GWS rep at the club tour for prospective players

I love this part rts of the article about Ultan Kelm
'The loss of Kelm’s pace and scoring power would be an obvious setback for Fermanagh. The blond-haired speedster was ever-present for the Erne County last year when he scored in 10 of the 12 games in a challenging season.'

While it also seems to confirm he tested really well when he came over early this year. On the Better Down Back podcast Jordan Clark said one of the Irish players ran elite distance times so Im pretty sure that was Ultan as the article says
'He impressed at recent trials with the Freemantle Dockers'.
We could send someone back to Fermanagh...
Tis only fair to be fair.

I'm staggered the Bombers haven't realised/accepted they need a full rebuild. They are the most no mans land I can remember since Essendon a few years back.
Probably doesn't meet the definition when you're bottom three but West Coast are still in no man's land from an age perspective - they're Harley Reid away from being just as bad except more sh**e.

St Kilda are kind of no man's land as well overall but I do like some of their youngsters.

My word on the street is that kysaiah Pickett to WA is still very real and there is no doubt that is the Pickett’s preferred option.
