Yeah, dumb.
Oh no! Getting Baker means someone who isn’t as good is ‘forced’ out!!
It’s like people don’t even want to improve our best 22.
I’m also not saying NOD isn’t as good, just the general vibe of getting Baler pushes someone out.
Well no der!
But aren't things that are rare considered to be more valuable?Paul Curtis, thirty goals this year.
Curtis Taylor, 33 goals in six seasons.
at Peel?I have a feeling we are going to see Banfield on the wing unfortunately...
I am. Paul Curtis is terrific from the little I have seen.Might be getting him mixed up with Paul Curtis? (The good small

...not if you stop playing them when they're sore or injured. It’s going to be very difficult putting 28 players into 23 Spots.
I think people are saying you need to be careful bringing in players who are 16-23 on your list, especially when you have a young list and a number of people could improve and push him out of the 22. (Especially on a long contract)
So for baker, it depends if you rate him 11-16 player on your list, or 17 -23.
I have him in the 11-16 bracket, so I would like to bring him in.
In reality, all players like Baker and Bolton come down to cost (salary and draft capital ) vs output.
Will they improve 22, but are they worth the salary and picks you are giving up?
And the answer to that question, will differ greatly depending on where your list is. I can't see West Coast giving up any picks, while we should be looking to improve our 22 if the price is reasonable.
No current season stats available
I'm happy to move on Brodie this season, he's not breaking back into the team.
Except the 2m bit is more 1.5m
Dogs came and had a look at him last season and have been trying to add midfielders, I'm not trying to suggest that they will pay anything of value for him but losing two mature bodies this offseason in Smith and Mccrae - Libba on a one year deal and 33 early next year - they will have holes to fill with either draftees or the likes of Will Brodie to wear the hits.
All NBA teams have load management, Ric Charlesworth won a women's hockey gold medal with that idea, and Geelong seems to be doing it a small level....not if you stop playing them when they're sore or injured.
It will harded if we get both B1 and B2, and together any of the 1–4-year players taking the next step.I hope Aish has a great preseason. He's still decent, flexible and excellent depth. He can still push for the 23.
Haven't tuned in since 2021 and it's the best decision i ever madeOnly 10 days till trade radio!
I think Aish is better than O'Meara in almost every metric. Some will disagree of course, but that's my view.I hope Aish has a great preseason. He's still decent, flexible and excellent depth. He can still push for the 23.
Just to rub salt into the wound we would also have pick 4 and pick 7 from Collingwood and Port. There's a video on YouTube showing what the ladder looks like if the close games were reversed. He does 6 points and 10 points. Long story short, we make finals.
That is my expectations of what Bolton, Baker and natural list improvement will bring.
Finals experience definitely has a value.

Yeah I don't think so. Aish gets most of his stats in the back of the ground whereas JOM is earning them from the middle to forward lines (a lot harder)I think Aish is better than O'Meara in almost every metric. Some will disagree of course, but that's my view.
